ОтветитьThe best desicion I ever made was getting the ebook Woman’s weight loss secrets: the unspoken truth, it completly changed my life
ОтветитьThis is the best Plateau explanation, bravo thank you!
ОтветитьIs it possible that i didnt lose any fat in last 2 months bcs i started to go to gym and my calorie intake raised up but i was still on 1500kcal except the 3300kcal i should get? will i get back in deficite if i start to eat 2500kcal+- daily while still training 5x a week?
ОтветитьLogged all food and walked 8-10k steps for over 500 consecutive days with a caloric deficit on average of 500-600 calories below maintenance (body weight × 10). Lost exactly 0 pounds. And actually gained weight.
ОтветитьHello my fellow Carnivore Friends. I need some of your expertise. I am obese 61 years old man 188 cm tall 130 kg. Today is week 3 on my Carnivore “Diet” and i still feel very bad, no sleep, always stomach problems, always explosive Diarrhea 20 minutes after i eat something, and my face looks like that of a teenager FULL OF ACNE! I wake up at 7am, have a glass of water and 1200 mg NAC 30 minutes later Coffee with cream (i hate black coffee) then after one hour i have my Breakfast, usually bacon and 3 eggs (I take digestive enzymes before and 250 mg Tudca after ( i have no gallbladder) 20 minutes later DIARRHEA. I have nothing for lunch and my dinner around 6pm (usually ribeye Steak) Again, digestive enzymes and NAC before dinner and 250 mg Tudca after my dinner. After 20 Minutes DIARRHEA again. I drink lots of water during the day. I have my whiskey at night (yes whiskey and i won’t give it up) around 9pm i have a piece of hard cheese. Bedtime 11pm. During this 3 week of torture i have lost a miserable 1 kg!! I don’t know what i am doing wrong?
ОтветитьMoral of the story, eat right, eat clean, eat healthy, and go by how your clothes fit as opposed to the scale. If you find you need to buy new size down clothes you’re doing everything right.
ОтветитьAs I see that in recommendation I’d like to share what helps me, exactly at 1800 calories I hit plato when I was around 13-14% bf my goal was to get to 10%. After 1 month of keeping weight on 1800 calories I increase my calorie in take up to 2300-2500 a day with the same activity , I’ve gain 3 kg in 2 months which was probably water, than I drop calories to 1800 calories again and in 6 weeks I get my 10% bf
ОтветитьI'm sorry, but I can't eat less. I have chronic health problems and disabilities and I'm already eating less than 1200 calories like around 800 and I'm going on walks and exercising for about 2 hours multiple times a week, and I can't lose the damn weight. I noticed that when I get off of certain supplements that I am finally able to lose the weight, but the problem is that my mental health and energy is extremely bad and my doctors aren't giving me much alternatives for them so it's either be fat, fake happy, and don't get married since men are superficial these days and already don't want to date me cause I have disabilities, or lose weight and be a crazy deranged person that might be able to get married someday.
ОтветитьThats why u need to refeed or go on a calorie surplus every 10 days... Trust me, u will not experience plateau
Ответить...
ОтветитьIf it’s not working at 1800, take it down to 1600. Not complicated.
ОтветитьBro thanks so much I think I’m type 1. I started at 232 pounds I’m down to 206 now and got stuck at that number for a week or two Im going to just wait it out and if it doesn’t work ill try for type 3
ОтветитьWo2. Just found your videos. Ty!
ОтветитьI'm frustrated on behalf of my wife, who is damn near on the verge of a mental breakdown.
She has 80 to 100 pounds to lose. Every calorie calculator told her she needed to be eating 2,700 caloroes or so to be in a defecit. She hasn't been eating anywhere near that much for a few years. She finds it hard to stuff in 1,400 calories a day.
She started her new diet with better food choices at 2,100 calories a day. She initially lost 8 pounds in like 2 weeks. Im figuring eater weight loss from cutting out some bad food and beversge choices. Then absolutely nothing for the last three months. We even went to a certified nutrition lady at a very respectavke clinic, which we now don't respect at all. For some reason they told her that her weigjt was 20 pounds lower than wjat it actually was. My wife was freaking thrilled, thinking our home scale must be wrong. In the few days aftwr we weighed her on five different scales, two of them medical scales and one of them a brand new "most accurate of 2024" home scale. They all say the same thing as our old home scale. She had not lost 20 pounds. Nlw we ccan't trust any of the numbers that the nutritionist gave us and my wife went on a downward spiral, almost becominh suicidal.
We've lowered her calories weekly and maddively upped her step count and started light weight trainig and mobility work.
She's now down to 1,400 calories a day of whole foods. No weight loss. Lowered her carbs to 70g a day. No weight loss. She's not overly tired. She finishes her walks and workouts. It doesn't make sense. Now she's so flustered she's talking about going under 1,000 kcal a day. I know that can't be good for her.
The intial bump in calories, especially being far more healthier calories did her a lot of good. Her hair and skin got softer, her energy levels went up, not near as much hair coming out when she brushed it, etc.
I don't want her to go back to that unhealthy underfed state, but we don't know what else to do. Csnt afford specialists. Her state doc wont do anything except tell her to go low carb and tell her she's insulin resistant. But being this overweight is driving her mad. She's meticulous about her food, weighs and tracks everything, does not eat from 9pm to 9am. How can weight not be coming off of a 252# person who's eatinf 1,400 calories a day who's walking/ellipticalling 10-12 miles a day???
Bro im on 1000kcal and 10 000 steps per day and i dnt lose weight at 83kg! what can i do
ОтветитьDidn’t knew keto was extreme 🤔
ОтветитьAdditional tip which made me successful in my weight loss journey: Get on that ...ucking scale ONCE A MONTH. If you get on the scale every day or even once a week, you might be disappointed and demotivated.
ОтветитьNice educational video. I have been in a plateau 6months now. This is my story: I started my weight loss journey and lost 10kg in 6months. I am 66kg now but have been stuck since. I am taking 1200cals per day (sometimes lower & higher) and have been doing low-impact cardio at home daily & using my standing desk more. I am trying hard but it is so hard now because nothing is changing and I am starting to fall into eating more carbs. I have no idea what I can do and is very lost. My goal is to be 55kg.
ОтветитьWeigh yourself in the morning every morning BEFORE anything first time you get up, that will offset your water weight miscalculations
ОтветитьDear Mario . I really need to thank you for this video . Tbh I'm not a type of person who leaves a comment under a video but I find this video really useful and i watch it every day, sometimes twice a day . I lost 8.5 kilos in 3 weeks . I finally saw 97.800 kilos on the scale yesterday . You're an inspiration for me cause my weight lose slowing down even though I even eat less than before . I don't feel down and I'm not going to stop the diet at all . I tried on a blazer that I couldn't fit in it a week ago but today I wore it and I even could tighten the button 😊 ❤ thanks for being there for us🎉 God bless you
Ответитьwaist size and the mirror are what matters. We all know the truth. I have gone through all of those plateaus and this advice is dead on. Fitness and health is a journey. Who cares if you aren't losing weight for 6 months when you have the rest of your life.
ОтветитьI have PCOS. have started calorie deficit last April 5, 2024, taking in 1,200 calories a day. I went from 83kg down to 72kg during the second week of July 2024. However, since last week, I noticed I stopped going down and stayed at 72.2-74 for the past few days. I do strength training, spending around half to a full hour of slow-paced training with 5-7kg weights, but I don't think it's something that significant (is it?) that it started stalling my weight loss. The type of food I consume is pretty much consistent everyday as well (I weigh them), a heavy breakfast of some oats and chia, protein at lunch/dinner with eggs for instance, and throw some vegetables in there as well; further, I am on an intermittent fasting of 20:4, I eat at 1230 noon to 430 in the afternoon.
Do you have any insight regarding this? I'm a bit paranoid since I was starting off strong.
Please help , I’ve been on an intense calorie deficit , gone to the gym almost every day of the week for a month straight , and I’ve been running 5 km everyday for a month , but still I see no progress
ОтветитьI have noticed some of these myself I think. But I won't give up. I'm going to continue on my path whatever happens. The upsides are already so great while I'm still far from my end goal. Living a healthier, more active life can be difficult at times, but it's worth it. I hope I can some day come back to these comments when someone asks how I'm doing nowadays, I can say I'm either doing great or reached my goals. I may need to invest on a better scale that shows more than just my weight. I know they are not that accurate, but they may give a better understanding of my progress. For anyone struggling, don't give up. Remember why you started your journey.
ОтветитьHoly
ОтветитьIf you are lifting heavy, especially if you just started, you will absolutely gain a few pounds. Just stay with it!!!
ОтветитьGaining lean mass as well...
ОтветитьSeems like good advice but there's no way you can trust a psychopath who keeps an uncovered bowl of chocolates in his cupboard for snacking
ОтветитьI love that every single time I watch someone’s video on this the answer is “it’s because you’re not actually in a deficit”
ОтветитьOh I know what happened, I didnt press like.
Ответить-> Reason 1 - water weight
-> Reason 2 - changes in behaviour e.g. slipping on calorie counting or doing less activity/steps
-> Reason 3 - metabolic adaptation
I literally lost about 10 pounds and can’t lose anymore I’ve been cutting for a whole year and no matter what. Lifting weights walking 10k steps a day. Eating 2200 cals NOTHING I’ll lose 2 pounds then wake up 2 days later plus 2-3 pounds and this is constant smh
ОтветитьNot losing fat on 800 cal my man...not 1800😭
ОтветитьI would also like to add, regarding the metabolic adaption (type 3) is, if you are not lifting weights, or not getting sufficient protein to maintain the muscle tissue you have, your body can sometimes choose to strip down some of your muscle tissue to reduce its caloric needs since muscle tissue is much more "expensive" to hold onto than your fat reserves. Having less muscle tissue immediately reduces your caloric needs.
Ответитьi keep losing weight, but i keep going to the gym consistently and walk about 20.000+ steps a day at my active job. 67Kg for 173cm right now, still got some fat to lose but i can already see my abs :)
ОтветитьIt’s like you know me and my habits so well.
ОтветитьI hate my metabolism. My body is one that ‘adapts’ to a diet and stops burning fat at about 15%. Then if I up the cardio, I lose muscle. I’m already at about 1500 calories a day, 40g carbs, I don’t have much room left to further diet. I already feel like I’m starving. It’s like 80% protein with a little bit of fat
Ответитьi was in calorie deficit and i had a plateau which lasted a month i was 80kg for a whole month and now slowly ive been drecreasing weight im now 78.8kg
ОтветитьMust be the type of food that you eat. Stop eating sweet food beginning of any meal
ОтветитьJust discovered you and i really like ur Content.Keep up the good work
ОтветитьBro are you from balkan
ОтветитьBruh all the videos I've watched and this is the first I've learnt about water weight and sodium
ОтветитьThanks for this video. Haven't seen the scale move despite being pretty consistent with calories. Reminded me of the basics and eased some anxiety
ОтветитьI can speak to the first one personally. I drink a lot of water on weekdays. usually about 80 oz per day. At times during the week I feel like I'm getting nowhere and feel bloated. On the weekends I drink less water and I feel less bloated and even a bit more slim. I don't panic, my calories are in a deficit, stick to the plan and make adjustments after the 12 week slow cut. I went from 160 to 180 intentionally to gain more mass. It's going to take time to get lean again and I'm in this for the long haul.
Love the content as usual.
it’s simple, eat less than a 1000 calories and workout until you are pouring sweat. get skinny! 👍🏻
ОтветитьHi sir how many grams of chicken we can consume in our daily life
ОтветитьCalorie deficits are never sustainable when you are overweight owing to the fat causing INSULIN RESISTANCE; you first need to tackle that by INTERMITTENT FASTING
ОтветитьIf cutting down to 1800 calories a day isn’t enough for you, maybe you should do more cardio so you don’t starve yourself by going down even more in calories
Ответить
