It’s expensive for sure, but I do think it’s a great gadget as a productivity tool. I agree that a lot of the small quirks can be solved with software updates. Great video!
ОтветитьYou bring up some great points. Personally I think it’s a device that may not be everyone and a lot of that has to do with the price. It’s a luxury device at the moment. Hopefully more an affordable non Pro version is released that reaches out to a wider audience
ОтветитьIt’s definitely a new market and hits a very specific target in customer consumption. I think all together it might not fit my specific lifestyle but for those who work from home a lot more it would be amazing, also just shows the growth of tech now!
ОтветитьPro: Amazing device. Con: The price.
ОтветитьFaiz, Great video about the quirks and quarks. I concur with your overall evaluation and the value proposition of version one. Aside from that, you might try the over the head strap. My experience with it is quite positive - as opposed to the single band (sharp pressure on cheek bones and forehead). With the over the head you may actually enjoy wearing AVP through a full battery (dis)charge! It messes up the hair somewhat!
ОтветитьSeems a lot just to watch porn.
ОтветитьWonder if they'll ever do anything to allow Windows or Linux OSes do virtual desktops... not all of us use Macs for productivity.
ОтветитьGreat video. I think Apple positioned this device brilliantly. The keynote received a lot of criticism for barely mentioning gaming. Many people are task oriented and not attracted at all to the world of immersive gaming. We are adults who may have children, 50 hr week jobs or are just more comfortable primarily being “present” than escaping. So when you said you were most comfortable having some awareness of your environment and wanting to enhance your work from home set up, I think you are one of Apple’s target users. Once the “return buyers” are out, I think you will have so much power over the future direction this product takes as an early adopter. Engineers will be listening, developers will be listening. Help send future You his dream device!
ОтветитьThis is crazy! When you can get an used Quest 2 that does more for around $120. And the Quest 3 for around $400.
ОтветитьI went into a demo of the Vision Pro with an open mind, but hoping to be wowed. The only wow moment came with the immersive video demo, that was amazing.
Though I’m excited for future versions of Vision Pro, the current state doesn’t seem quite ready for prime time. The value proposition just isn’t there for me.
Here to see if you read on it and what that experience is like.
ОтветитьWhat do you mean by immersive? Cause as far as I can tell you are still in your own livingroom.
Ответитьhow much memory did you purchase?
ОтветитьIt’s a computer for your face. If you would buy a computer for that price, then it’s worth it. Yes, a comparably priced Mac would have an M3 Max as its CPU versus an M2 here, but if raw speed isn’t a priority for you, then this is worth it. If you wouldn’t pay that much for a computer, then it isn’t worth it.
ОтветитьNicely built ? 🤔 for 4grNd that 💩 better be gold 😂
ОтветитьI love how he thinks the screen is a 100 inches when you can see the size comparable to his MacBook. It's 55 inch at most.
ОтветитьThe screen feature is worrying me, because on every video in seems so blurry and pixellized. Is it better when you actually test it?
ОтветитьNice review! I love how honestly you review tech! I have the Quest 3. I only use it for entertainment. It’s a great headset and only $500-$700. I don’t think I could ever be able to justify a VR/AR device at a $4000 price point. Maybe one day when the device is more like a pair of sunglasses I’ll be tempted. 😅
