Gamit namin to travel from Capiz to Iloilo ang Panay Rail even in the mid 1970s. it only stop the service right after a severe typhoon ( 1984 ), Hindi na say naresume because nawalan ata ng funds? tapos nauso ang Ceres Bus as mode of transportation. sadly, kinilo na ata lahat ng riles ng train. sayang but it was a scenic trip.

It's really too bad that they didn't maintain and improve it. My parents said that it was really very convenient and faster to travel between the two cities, not just for people but also for goods and produce. It also served the many towns that dotted between the two cities. I'd like to see a railway that encircles the whole Panay, including Antique.
