what is most concerning to me is the fact that Trustpilot gives these platforms about 2.5 stars! So many people complaining about almost non-existent customer service, nickel and diming you for every little service and difficult technical tools.
Ответитьawesome video! :) THANK YOU!! Going to have to check out teachable now!
ОтветитьThis was super helpful! A platform I was hoping you covered though was Mighty Networks. Their sales page and marketing is superb and very compelling, but it's the most pricey. Any thoughts there?
ОтветитьHi, which platform do you recommend for auto window tinting. we are based in the uk. thanks
ОтветитьCan I set a course price of $5,000 per course?
ОтветитьWhich one pays creators of the month?
ОтветитьHi and thanks for your video! If my goal is # of students rather than profitability what's the best platform for course creation?
ОтветитьI have been using teachable from quite a long time and I have educational video courses on teachable but they are not providing appropriate bandwidth even when I am on their pro plan. Students complaining about video buffering problem all the time. Moreover, they are increasing the charges continuously without giving any service. I am withdrawing my courses from there and planning to shift them. i am just looking for the right platforms.
ОтветитьThis saved me so much time!
ОтветитьGreat video and very helpful! For teachable, what if I want to sell a specific item or service within a lesson. Can you have a link or actual add to cart button within that lesson page? For example....say I am teaching SEO and I have sell content writing services as an add on. Can I put that in the lesson that discusses the importance of good content? Or do any of these platforms do this? If not, I can link to the separate website if that makes more sense. Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you so much @witandwire for the video and all who have shared valuable experiences about the different platforms through the comments. The best part of the video was for me to know what is requirements, list it and then look for the platforms. I have been using Trainer Central from Zoho, but now looking for another option.
ОтветитьWhat do you think about course creation in Circle?
ОтветитьWhat about Learndash?
ОтветитьHow’s Kartra? Also, can you build a course on go high level?
ОтветитьThanks babe, nice and clear
ОтветитьCan you do a video on stan store?
ОтветитьNice video. Subscribed 😊
ОтветитьVery useful video!

ОтветитьHi great explanation can you use multiple platforms to sell the same course to get more chances of selling?
ОтветитьHow nuch time it take to payout instructor?
ОтветитьThanks for your previous answer. I have another question: I've resently realized that the ads for my course have a good click-through-rate. So, ultimately my problem is that the sales page is not good enough, not converting. So the question is: which platforms offer the best course sale landing pages, and can those course pages be integrated on my website using the same domain or the customer is taken to a different domain?
ОтветитьHow can I check what is available on teachable? How would I know if the course I am looking for to learn is available on teachable?
ОтветитьThank you so much. I have a question. I'm not a very established out there, I'm just starting. I give holistic therapies and online courses on my website which has NEVER taken off properly. My main sales market is Airbnb experiences. Not a single therapy has been sold through my website, and I've sold a few courses after investing a thousand dollars in facebook ads to realize it's not worth it. So, just like the Airbnb platform worked to sell my therapies I'm looking for a platform to sell/market my courses. To me, it's not important if the course looks great if nobody buys it, what I care the most is to sell it. I can design the best course in the world, what I need is a platform/market place that will sell it. What do you recommend?
ОтветитьWhat is your opinion of hosting all on wix? What could be a cheap alternative for an all-in one marketing platform like j´kajabi?
ОтветитьThanks :)
ОтветитьHow can you make teachable a 1 step check out? I'm starting to build a course and I see a landing page which then leads to the checkout making it 2 pages
ОтветитьExactly what I needed, thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for this video! Now I'm considering trying Teachable. However, I would like to share my 1-year experience with Podia: I make descriptions under the video lesson where you can have hyperlinks, so I easily embed dowbloadable pdf links and files this way. So, I didn't even notice the problem that you mentioned 💜
Ответитьincredible content. thank you so much!
ОтветитьThanks for the comparison! Personally, I've been using Teachable for the last 6 years, and I love their easy to create courses and beautiful overall pages. But lately their customer support has been very slow. I have an issue with billing students (and loosing money in the process) and I've submitted three tickets over the last 15 days and still no response. Plus, they increased their prices and went from unlimited courses to a very limited number of courses for the same plan. I wanted to stay with Teachable (the hassle of moving platforms) but they are pushing me away with such bad customer support.
ОтветитьThank you for this video. If you just wanted to sell online video classes, none of the thrills what platform would you recommend?
ОтветитьTeachable is now terrible! Tripled the price, terrible customer service and now cutting how many classes you can have dramatically unless you pay $499 a month! The checkout is terrible if you cannot check out with more than one product at a time which is insane for platform where you’re selling products!! Avoid!!!!!
ОтветитьI just want to know the best platform to promote my students speaking and listening.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing how much will the course cost I added my own course ?
ОтветитьGreat piece thanks. Seems like teachable is the best option.
ОтветитьGreat content Melissa, thank you very much! Which tools do I need to use alongside teachable to create email automation, a\b tests etc. ?
ОтветитьAn excellent video. Thanks very much.
ОтветитьBut how is the marketing of these other platforms? Udemy and Skillshare have a large reach. Are the one's you mentioned, good at marketing or gaining reach? However, does the reach of Udemy and Skillshare translate into purchases?
ОтветитьCan you review kartra?
ОтветитьLike so many of your videos, this one is extremely helpful. Any comment on which teaching platforms have a good solution to prevent password sharing by students, or allow us to limit each student to 1 or 2 devices by IP address, etc? Not much info out there on what seems like a major issue. Thanks
ОтветитьThank you for making this video
Ответитьlove your gallery wall ❤
ОтветитьThanks, Melissa. I didn't know about Teachable. Well, I just started my research and was playing around with Thinkific. Definitely, one step checkout in today's hyper world is an advantage. Have a cool weekend)
ОтветитьThis is my first time teaching online. Thanks!
