Join NATO by all means but I would not recommend joining the EU, the lady spoke about democracy, the EU has no democracy, its leaders are not elected by European citizens. Best thing the UK ever did was to leave the EU. My mum and dad spent their lives regretting that they voted to enter what was described as the "European common market" as it was incorrectly called back in the early seventies, but that was to fool people into voting in favour of it.

The Transnistria issue will have to be settled first.
