Great reaction. Dimash's rendition of Lionel Richie’s "Hello" was a guest performance on "I am a Singer 2018"; he was not competing that year. At the end of the second verse, Dimash sang "I love you" in Mandarin ("Wo ai ni") to the Chinese audience, and again in the third verse, adding "I love you" in Kazakh, before whispering "Thank you" in Mandarin at the end.

Dimash beautifully incorporates Middle Eastern (Armenian, Turkish, Arabic, Azerbaijanian, Kazakh) runs in the song. His friend, Erlan Bekchurin, did the musical arrangement for this performance, as well as most of his other arrangements. The flute is called a sybyzgy, a traditional Kazakh flute, and precursor to the modern flutes. This is my favorite rendition of the song; even better than the original in my humble opinion.

I do not think Dimash is into music to deliver shock to his audience his voice and different perspective composion is to deliver emotions and bring to the table discussion of the story of the song. Dimash has said " I want people to listen to the layers of what I sing." He as we all see , feel, think from different perspectives, no 2 people are the same. He takes us out of the cookie cut sameness of todays music and its intent of shock value. He has a great voice and skills so he has the flexability to deliver to us in each song the something different that does not fit into the cookie cut products mostly done today. He delivers out of the box pieces for us to reconnect to the originality within each of us/humans. On a sad note he has been banned from singing this song ever again. There are in my limited experence 5 titans in music today that try to get us out of the expectation of wanting the cookie cutter versions we are fed today. They are all independent creators.
