I never ever got into Batman, none of the comics, none of the films or the actors. Watched the films and just couldn't connect. Until it was revealed that Bruce Wayne had trained as a ninja. That literally changed the entire story. That was the only thing I had ever seen that made any sense. This is literally the only comic book character, and the only Batman, I'll ever accept.
