Sittin in the middle never worked for me. My grandpa drove and my dad rode shotgun. When we come to a gate my dad got out and let me out to get the gate. If it was just two of us they didn’t even stop to let me get back in. I had to run and jump.

I've been a fan of MMM's for years. We even went to Michael's West Fest out in Colorado one year. Don't give up on this type of music, because there is a young man carrying on the tradition. His name is Colter Wall, and he has several videos on yt.

I love this song, but my family has a bit different take on this logic. The real cowboy is the one in the driver's seat. He doesn't have to get the gate, or deal with someone's shifter in his lap.
