Kelly Canyon

Kelly Canyon ski area is located about 40 minutes north-east of Idaho Falls and only 15 minutes from the town of Ririe, Idaho. It offers 1,000 vertical feet (305 meters), served by a triple chair and 3 double chairs.

The terrain offers a lot of variety. Kelly Canyon is part of the Indy Pass, which means that anyone with this pass can ski here for free for 2 days.

The day lodge serves a variety of foods, including a delicious potato soup, which most smaller ski areas in Idaho do not offer at all. Many smaller ski areas offer only hamburgers and nothing else.

I really enjoyed skiing at Kelly Canyon. The snow was excellent, so it was a joy to ski ungroomed slopes.
