I in so jealous, i love opals. Ruff cut, smooth, all opals. To me they a just so beautiful!!! I have one that my great grandfather mined in Australia before my father was even a thought, lol.

I really appreciate these but I am old fashioned and love to leave part of the age, or character of the gem attached. I know rich people are finicky, but part of that is because of what the market has created. I believe stones are more beautiful when they show their "age scabs" attached. It's a travesty to sit here and watch you grind off millions of years of God's creations just so some A--hole with money can wear it for a while and then die. Humans only last 100 years and had nothing to do with the creation.
