everytime i use this the xp goes mostly into my levels and not held tool

I made this on ps4 and the piston next to the note block will not update when you remove the dye or when it gets filled. It requires a block update to extend and retract. But when it is done dropping all of the dye it will retract due to a block update. This may be a bug but i dont want to take any chances. Thank you for making this!
i will play around with this design for a bit to see if i can make it work.

Hey what's the function of the cauldron in this design? When I built this up in a 1.14.3 survival world, the right side of the system would never get powered because the right comparator doesnt activate. Because of this, the furnace backs up before all 780 xp is loaded. Im wondering what conditions would need to be filled in order activate the right comparator. Thanks!

I built this machine on my friend's 1.14.3 realms server, and I ran into an issue. Everything seems to work, up to the lamp lighting up when the furnace finally fills up, but when I try to remove items from the furnace, the sticky piston holding the observer just keeps firing over and over, and the dropper doesn't dispense any items. Is this furnace array directional? If it matters, the observers in my world are turned a different way than they are here (they face the same way, its just the triangles are visible on the sides as opposed to the black bars like in this video).


Edit: So I just remade what I had, and it worked. I think I just had some observers facing the wrong way. Whoops!

Will this work on a bedrock edition?

for me the detection of the item being taken out doesn't work... the piston doesn't extend... I'm playing in 1.14.4 is that a problem?

im trying to build this on a 1.14.4 realm but the dye seems to immediately get sucked into the dropper, is this supposed to happen? should i let it run until the dropper is filled?

Does this farm still work 1.14.4 . I build this in my survival world, for some reason when the system get filled up the redstone lamp does not turn on and when I take I item from the furnace the dropper does nothing. Please need help

The second comparator isn't getting power unless I manually place an item in the dropper/cauldron and take it out. What did I do wrong?

would this work with any fuel source/smelt-able items? Could I get this working double duty as my furnace array and xp farm at the same time or would that mess up the xp rates?

I'm not getting my pickaxe (with medning) fully repaired when removing the items, I was not wearing any armour and was only holding the pickaxe. Can the stored xp reset if a servers reset?

Trying to run this on a paper mc server 1.14.4 and I dont get any XP or very little. Has this exploit been fixed? Not sure what I am doing wrong. ???

built this on a 1.14.4 smp server, but when i remove the 1 item from the furnace it dosnt start spitting out items, also lamp indicator dosnt seem to work, any help? :)

If you build this beauty, put torches in the 2x1 tunnel above the bottom observer to avoid unwanted guests. The 0 tick farms of the original video work perfectly. A tutorial for that build would be nice. Spent hours trying to make that one work too

1.14.4 working perfectly. Easy to build, easy to operate and very compact (for what it does). Farms in the old video work perfectly. I would only suggest to add an auto on/off switch for each farm. Mine took roughly 15 hours to fully fill up all hoppers and xp. Thanks ilmango, very cool

Def comes through with the xp, but is anyone else having an issue with the droppers not activating? Built this on 1.15.2

Did Ilmango ever share the design of the newest version of this? I heard on Xisuma's channel that he made another one like this one but with the furnaces exposed...

For anyone that swings by and is playing in Minecraft 1.16 or newer; Comparators changed their update order as of 20w06a. Due to this, the design for dispensing items no longer works as it does in this video!

So you can just add some 0 tick farms into this and be good?

Question about this build. I can only get the XP to repair my items if I hold a tool in my off hand. Otherwise nothing gets mended. Also, while it does fix my tools. If I have no mending gear on, I am only getting like 2 levels, if that. Shouldn't I be getting around 30+ levels for each slot once it's done???

So... found a flaw, if the fuel is not kept full it doesn't work, so large industrial use on servers is probably not the best. Wonderful design otherwise though.

The problem with this is it’s perfectly calculated for Diamond gear but now we have Netherite. And also new smelting technology via chest boats so I’d love to see this revisited.

for instamining with an unbr3 netherite pickaxe and assuming 50% mining efficiency (50% downtime), you need 12 modules. if you use lava as your fuel source, you'll need 13 modules (because the bucket will occupy one slot and decrease cycle time). you need 42 lava buckets per hour
