Beer Review 54: Rumkin - Avery Brewing Company 98/100

This is a 2011 Rumpkin cellared for one year. Pours murky pumpkin brown with virtually no head; it looks like a triple or barley wine. Big rum aromas up front, rounded out with vanilla, ginger, cinnamon, pumpkin, dark fruits, candied figs. The taste is a rum punch in the face! WOW! Flavors of pumpkin puree, molasses, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, and candied figs and plums. We've go to find another bottle for this year and one more to cellar!
