For Pete to compose music like this at this stage of his career - so urgent, visceral and impassioned…and with pure Rock spirit, like he’s ready to trash a hotel room…an artist of his magnitude is nothing short of miraculous. And Roger - singing with the brawn of a man 50 years his junior, yet with all the subtlety and soulful interpretation he has always breathed into Pete’s music…bringing it fully alive - OWNING the music……simply astounding…and joyous. Quite lame. The Who isn't the Who without Moon and Entwistle! The music on this album is not 'Who' music. It's boring and forgettable pop music.

I remember listening to this album for the first time before the COVID-19 years kicked off in earnest in the West - it is so great to listen to it once more near to the end of another crazy year - listening to the Who is so good - definitely music I have loved from the first time I heard them as a child in the late 1970's .....

The Who still great. It's amazing to see all the great ones still Rockin, for the past 50 years. I loved the fact that Elvis Costello in his 60s is the youngest I've seen live this year.... He's just a kid compared to McCartney, Dylan and Plant. Now I can't wait to see the what's left of the Who in a few weeks.. The 60s.and 70s artist will always be the greatest. Now in there 60s -., early 80s they are still the best and definitely more talented than the rest. God bless the old Rockers like Dylan proclaim years ago

Well, these old boys are still kickin against the pricks, I’d love to tell em what they saw, we saw it and now the shutters are closing in and the grinders are low; oh, they saw what we saw but I think the hedges were a little tall for the witness, for their I to I to meet their eye and time will time, then the last click, there’s no sifting and sorting, just the gathering as is! Who else here agrees that this track can stand toe-to-toe with their best work? Absolute masterpiece of writing and production: perfectly captures Pete and Roger in this unique phase of Rock n Roll Elder Statesman-hood.

best live band ever, seen them all, Led Zep, Stones, Deep Purple, Free, Tom Petty, Steve Miller all brilliant but seen The Who 4 times (including Leeds) and they blow them all off stage. To be producing great music like this in their 70's after over 55 years proves what a fantastic band they are

Name me a better songwriter than Townshend. Only Dylan is in the same class. How Pete can keep writing Mod angst songs that resonate today is truly amazing. Pete and Roger hate each others guts now but I'm so glad that Daltry and Pete could put that aside to make one of the best Who albums ever. Thank you lads! But I'm greedy, one more please before we all disappear into the ether.
