Jerry, and Phil, Bob ,e.t.c. all treasures of human kind
Ответитьjust like Jerry Co.
ОтветитьQuite possibly the worst live band of all time. Utter rubbish.
ОтветитьWhat a great Jerry tune!!! So many of his songs were “easy listening”. Soothing, make you want to sway. This song fits that vibe to a tee. Miss him so much !!! Thank heavens for these videos as he will never completely disappear
ОтветитьWith the Dead it's the lyrics that makes them immortal
ОтветитьI miss these days with Jerry !!!
ОтветитьBeing 15_25 yo old was there was a entional Rolla coster when LSD was real I'm so thankful
Ответить1990 was also awesome
ОтветитьI was there 😂😅😊
Ответить126 shows between late 80's and early 90's. Miss this soooooo much. Love the Dead
ОтветитьRamble on Rose ...
ОтветитьPhils bass is what I feel
Ответитьyou eat some funny tasting stickers, make some grilled cheeses and this is the greatest shit ever. as jerry intendend.
ОтветитьMakes no sense:"just like Jack the ripper" or " just like Jack n' Jill". It just dawned on me... the appeal of this band is the name, if this were "the Jerry Garcia band", they would have ended up studio musicians. I've heard and been entertained better by commercial jingles.
Ответитьthe falsetto harmony of the keyboard player is crazy - spot on AND quite powerful. I was looking for fm bg vc all over the place...
ОтветитьI was there and love this show so much!
ОтветитьThis is my daughter’s favorite song!
(~};)
First Dead song I ever heard, WNEW,fm. Early 70’s. Ain’t been right since. ❤🎉❤
ОтветитьThe 1 st time we met we never left our hands closed around eachother because my little fingers were crooked + he loved them because of him losing his 1 finger ! Then he came to my room to ask for a match + I told him I had a match for him ! Me ! Then I went to work on him so nicely that he just let me do what I wanted to do !

Old evidence retested for 2006 Vero Beach murder case
Nicholas SamuelTCPalm
VERO BEACH — Detectives are confident they're getting closer and closer to solving the 10-year-old murder of Helen McPherson.
Forensic experts are using updated DNA technology to retest evidence left at the scene of the 2006 murder, said sheriff's Detective Greg Farless.
Hundreds of pieces of evidence were collected in 2006, Sheriff Deryl Loar said.
He said detectives are getting closer with each item they test with DNA technology.
'I feel very confident we're going to solve it,' he said.
McPherson, 87, of the 2600 block of 49th Avenue in Vero Beach, was found beaten and strangled in her bedroom July 15, 2006, with her blood splattered on the wall.
Since then, detectives have followed leads, interviewed suspects and witnesses and processed forensic evidence, according to the Sheriff's Office.
'We have never considered the McPherson case a cold case. I meet regularly with detectives to discuss progress on the case as we seek justice for Mrs. McPherson and her family,' Loar said. 'We will find the person responsible for her murder and we will bring them to justice.'
Farless said detectives have new leads, new information from witnesses and are looking at a possible suspect. He declined to elaborate.
Every year, the Sheriff's Office puts up fliers of Helen McPherson at local businesses on the day of the anniversary of her murder, Farless said, asking if anyone has information on her death. They're hoping to jog someone's memory about something seen or heard that could be a clue.
WHO WAS HELEN MCPHERSON?
Helen McPherson was a smart, friendly woman who attended regular Friday family dinners with her daughter-in-law, Wanda McPherson, and son, Doug McPherson, Wanda McPherson said.
'She was the grandmotherly type that liked to cook and eat,' Wanda McPherson said. 'She collected things of value, like antiques.'
Employees of the VCA Florida Veterinary League on U.S. 1 near Fourth Street remember her as a sweet, genuine woman who would frequently bring her dog in to the vet for toenail trimming.
'She was like the grandmother you imagine to have cookies baked when you come home,' said Amanda Wing, former veterinary assistant for the vet league. 'She would remember things about past conversations and would ask about my family and children. She was always very sharp and had a genuine care for other people.'
McPherson, widowed in 2000, lived in Vero Beach for 60 years, was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
Dr. Darrell Horn, veterinarian for the VCA Florida Veterinary League, said police came to him a few days after the murder because McPherson wrote a check to the veterinary facility the day before she was killed.
'I remember not knowing anything about anyone who would've done that to her,' Horn said. 'She was a really nice and friendly lady.'
LOOKING BACK ON THE CASE
The night before she died, her son and daughter-in-law took her out to dinner, watched television at her house and then left her home about 8:30 p.m., Wanda McPherson said. The couple returned to her home the next day to check up on her and found her beaten and strangled about 6 p.m.
'The room was in disarray and (the items) in her purse were emptied on the floor,' Wanda McPherson said. 'The 'why' is what bugs me; to beat her and strangle her.'
In 2011, three separate teams of detectives, each offering specialties in forensics, took turns working on the case.
Investigators said McPherson was not sexually assaulted and nothing was missing from the home to indicate a robbery.
'America's Most Wanted' television show aired an interview between show host John Walsh and Sheriff Deryl Loar on June 4, 2011, to get information from the public about the McPherson homicide, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Extensive processing of the crime scene took place over several days and a neighborhood canvas was completed. By 2011, the Sheriff's Office had interviewed and fingerprinted approximately 250 people.
Farless said the Sheriff's Office will give a cash reward for anyone with information that leads to a prosecution.

ОтветитьI've always felt that 1989 was the tour that the fans & band had hit equal velocity. Add that Brent & Jerry vibe & I can easily state that this was the most electrifying tour thhat i had personally ever witnessed.

ОтветитьI saw them 65 times from 1987 to 1995. From 87 to 91 most shows were great. By ‘92 Jerry was in decline and it was pretty hit or miss.
