Hmm
ОтветитьThe Storegga slide was what cut the UK off from Europe. That seems to be missing.
Ответитьgreat video!!!!
ОтветитьIs the Baltic Sea still rising to this day or did it stop?
ОтветитьI think what happened through the Volga River also happened in the Columbia River through Washington State to the Pacific Ocean. Did both events happen at the same time?
ОтветитьSo at the time when the Black Sea was a fresh lake, Beringia was accessible and passable? Beringia is local history for me. Or prehistory.
ОтветитьIt seem that modern sealevel rise is continuation of trend which begun 1000 years ago, in medieval period when sealevel was 2 m below either modern sealevel and sealevel in Roman period (2000 years ago). It seem that it is not human made at all.
ОтветитьIts crazy how 10000 years ago my town was 100 meters over see and 6000 years ago was underwater.
ОтветитьJust - 30 meter, could be very nice.
ОтветитьNeandertal was already gone ? It is fascinating that We have a vastitude of mud to investigate.
Ответитьcan't wait for the google earth version of this
ОтветитьWhat were those fascinating islands of shore ireland that existed for quite a while, they seem to disappear just before the meltwater pulse period
ОтветитьImagine how different the world would be if we developed agriculture during this time...
Ответитьsea level rise is less today than it was 500 years ago, mmm....... that's interesting
ОтветитьIt's weird watching this cos you can't see any changes
ОтветитьDoes deglaciation cause earthquakes?
ОтветитьIt is cool that you're using World of Warcraft OST into your videos.
ОтветитьThe first city arose when Britain wasn’t even an island yet and Finland barely even existed. That is mind-blowing!
ОтветитьWould be interesting to see a North American version of this, with the formation of the great lakes and the dissappearence of lake bonneville and such.
ОтветитьAll those cavemen burning wood and then the advent of farming clearly caused catastrophic flooding.
ОтветитьThe disappearance of doggerland, where the real men cried.
ОтветитьWe are now living in coldest era on our planet and green idiots keep talking that planet is dying
ОтветитьThis is fucking awesome!
ОтветитьI might have stayed with this theme until I was expected to believe that Jericho was in 'Israel' post Ice age.
ОтветитьMy two birbs fell afsleep to the music. 🤗
ОтветитьYour taste in music is impeccable. All your videos have the best soundtrack EVER!👍👍
ОтветитьBest. Europe. Map. Ever.
ОтветитьJericho is not the earlliest known city, maybe the earlliest know settlement.
ОтветитьSlight correction - Jericho is located entirely within Palestine, not Israel. Neither Israel nor any other country has annexed the region, and since 1994 it has been under sole jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority.
ОтветитьIt's a pity this video does not show the ice-cap range and it's height over the land (it could have been shown with isolines). Anyway I am really happy to see this great video. Homo Sapiens developed His brain, and became the intelligent species thanks (or because) of the glaciations periods. We were endgangered species - around 2000 of Human beings were walking on Earth when glaciation hit... WE had to fight for survival as we moved from Africa and tried to find new lands. The survival made Us wha We are today - highly developed species.
Ответить6000 years ago
Sweden & Finland: Bonjour
This is amazing!
Ответить2 Year 4.9K Likes 19.5K subs
Ответитьthe crux of this story is that even with a 40mm per year rise, it still takes hundreds of years before a noticeable change occurs in shorelines.
ОтветитьAhh ok
ОтветитьR.I.P to doggerland
ОтветитьFascenating
ОтветитьThe birth of Sweden and Finland
Ответитьjericho was NOT the first known city.
ОтветитьSo, if everything goes on like this, in a few centuries Sweden and Finland will have a land bridge across today's aland islands?
ОтветитьThe beautiful Carpathians... My home.
ОтветитьCada vez hay menos holanda
ОтветитьEons of time...
ОтветитьNorway:
Norway
So, I am supposed to believe the world was in constant change before the year 0 but mysteriously at the year 0 it stopped considerably changing?
ОтветитьThe worls woudlve been so much better if finland stayed ynder therr
