But I'm more of a 'I'm annoyed by most people I come in contacts in real life', so I just told them everytime, when I got this question, that' I just hate people, I haven't found the one I don't hate and want in my life, and that I'm happy with my current life situation'. Luckily, I don't get that question anymore and they just came to terms with it. 😂 And since my sister has a BF, my mom can at least hope for some grandchildren from her. 😅

I'm going to guess ball it, I'm around Vesper's age or older and I'm in the right situation. I do have a great relationship with my family as well as my brother, and we both are constantly asked again and again, "When are you getting married?".

To be fair, there's overpopulation, we are at what? 8 Billion people on the planet? I don't feel in a rush to bring more people into this world and plus with the feminism as it is, its hard to connect with females now more than ever.

For me, my parents never ask when I'll get married, luckily. Unluckily, instead, they say things like "when you get married" or "when you're married" like it's preordained by fate that I'm gonna get married. And I've already told them that I'm never gonna get married, multiple times, throughout my life, and they STILL talk like that. Granted, my stance might change in the future about marriage, but still, why do they do that to me.

My parents pretty much gave up on me getting married lmao I'm having none of those "why you still single?" questions XD

Im so happy my family accepted early on that neither me nor my brother have any plans on starting a family with anyone. The only times I hear that kind of question is when I go to the doctor and such. They ALWAYS ask.

Had a similar problem, so one day I answered "at this rate probably never, seeing as how people keep jinxing me by asking so much." They eventually stopped. :P

My issue is more along the lines of my mom suggesting people for me to go out with. She knows it's hard for me to meet people right now (2nd shift tends to do that).

Fortunately for me, my family hasn't popped the question because they know I haven't found the right person and know what'll happen if I rush things. It's usually nosy coworkers or complete strangers who do it, thinking they're in a position to lecture everyone else on life because they've only done what everyone else has, refusing to open themselves to the idea that their way of life isn't the only one. They don't care if I find happiness, they just need something that makes them feel "correct" because they have nothing else in their lives to be proud of.

Your real friends would help you find what you're looking for and wouldn't make it all about themselves.
