You could tell how bad Shane wanted that. He stayed nervous sort of the whole match. And with the final 9 straight in, he took extra time to breathe and savor it... I think because this one eluded him he wanted it extra bad.

The shot clock buzzer sucks here. In others, they have no buzzer and an auto extension if you have it, much nicer.

The way Shane screams USA after winning the match, just shows the weight he carries on his shoulder. For him, it wasnt just to prove his abilities, cuz let's be real if he never won a world championship, he'd still go down the history books as one of the greatest of all time. It was to prove that America still produces world champions.

The 2022 world cup 9 ball game was a thrilling match between Albin Ouschan and Shane Boening. Ouschan had a strong start and took an early lead, but he made some risky shots that cost him later. Boening seized the opportunity and turned the game around in the 11th game, where he showed his skills in breaking and defending. He kept Ouschan under pressure and did not let him have any easy shots. Boening won the game with a flawless performance. Well done Mr. Boeing.

I love both Albin and SVB. Both very classy man and great talents.

Who is the commentator that keeps making rude comments about people... "showing their age"... "surprised he's drinking a beer since he just lost"... I enjoy listening to Jeremy but had to mute it because of him.

Met Shane in manila in 2010, I think he was 25… great person and I been following him ever since. One the greatest of players ever to play.

From South Dakota here. Watched Shane as play as a kid. Makes us proud. Beautiful play by both and hats off to Albin for his humble defeat.

Anybody know what happened with Strickland and Seo after the game it looks like she kind of wanted a hug but I think he said No don't touch me something else and then walked away and she was kind of astonished and the judge kind of said don't worry about it is that true you guys I'm just kind of guessing about what happened because of the video?

The seating in pool matches needs to be rethought and redesigned. The crowd sits so far away, and at the same level as the table so they can't see much. Let's get the crowd a lot closer and looking down from a second level 10 ft over the table, at least. Then the first level can be for the players and cameras only. Fix these 2 things and there will be bigger crowds, It's just easier to watch pool on a TV screen

Hard to believe SVB bested Albin here. Albin is a clinical machine at this point in his career. Albin's game 7 scratch on the break was the single turning point, imo. He would have been up 5-2 and still breaking. Hats off to Shane for an incredible run of racks to keep Albin seated!
