I always thought Blaze could run on hers because a cat's feet are always in that position. Especially the hind legs.
But hey, practice makes perfect (?) so it's not wrong.

High-heels aren't for everyone. Also, its possible Blaze is "cheating" with her feet, which may be part-way to normal cat hindlegs, and even without those shoes she walks with her heels up. It would explain how she runs about Sonic's speed with those on.
