TEACHING IS A "JOB", 80% people don't love their job, they do it cz they need money to support,so imagine a job where you have to face multiple characters every single fucking day who won''t listen to you, but you can't loose the job......what do you do, you learn to IGNORE them unfortunately along with anyone not in tht category, and you focus only on those who are good students,trying hard students, but what about the middle ones.

im a graduated person, no job and teachers scopes are most common and open everywhere, granted you have to pass teh exam, but i don''t want to be the person i hate, but its a rat race, many unwillingly join teachers and in the same circle of ignoring others, they keep on going, destroying lifes.

Seeing it after 10 years of posting this video. Still there is alot to change in education system.

Glad he was brave enough to say AD-HD is likely very over diagnosed.

So what can we do about it? I know the school system is terrible, but if you drop out people will think you are stupid and unemployable.

He hits it right on the nail: What we all have needed and what most of us didn't get.
We were lucky if we got a glimpse of a meaning of being alive...

I love everything he said he was so philosophical ❤ But I don’t think he said it right about China and Korea 😅Basically they have the most controlled and standardized educational systems from what I know

not based on diversity, but conformity

Nine years later, this is still a problem in Italy which no one is talking about and no one seems to be willing to change

you know why kids are "dumb"? most are *wax injured. Do you know how many sh0ts these kids get? This is not psychological. It's more metabolic. Kids are physically ill. If you are ill, you can't do math.

Dance and maths are a joint skill: esp to music correctly and expressively

The conditions he describes are exactly the reason I retired after 36 years in the classroom.

1. Pick an OK, Educational institution.
2. Pay the ticket before, not after with your own money, and you get a shot to escape.

I did not realise that Sir Ken Robinson has passed away. What a tragedy. He was brilliant.
Death Valley gets darker every day.

Took me several years to reset my natural curiosity. This man understood it!

I don't get why the people laughs

imagine ur guardians having to waste thousands of dollars on something which the child isnt even interested in, or on something which has nothing to do with the real world.
"imagine' is silent.

This is the man who I am going to look up to in my educational career. I am heartbroken to hear he has since passed. I strongly believe we should throw away the current educational infrastructure and base the new one off of Sir Ken Robinson's wisdom. That would impact us all over the world for the better. Thank God these are recorded and thank God for this man and his time on earth.

another problem is also that teachers are often subpar. if you are a smart kid and need to be challenged it works better when its done by a smart teacher. one that someone can look up to or respect. we should idiolize intelligence and not all the things we idiolize now on social media.
