Okay but on a practical note, what could she have actually done to protect herself? What were the options available to her?

I hate a stupid protagonist, and she is one of the dumbest.

Why is everyine sucking this movie's dick? Are your standards really this low, or do you just wanna feel like the cool hipster who watches indie movies instead of big production cost movies? The short is fine. Not bad, not amazing. The amount of people in absolute awe at something you can come up with and make before it's time for dinner is really sad. I'm sorry to burst your bubble but the idea of mirrors propped up in front of one another as a horror device is far from new, and the absolute unrealistic Hollywood scream queen reaction of the protagonist had me rolling my eyes. Pretty good rookie film, especially the camerawork and acting, but it's nothing close to what the comment section is trying to portray it as. Y'all are close to proclaiming it to have healing properties I swear.

meh there should have been a twist that the strangled person in the mirror was herself all along, repetition
and a series of time loops within the repeating reflections, or maybe im just missing that the creator attempted this stance and leave it slightly open-ended

This short film is just under 5 minutes and was better executed that anything i ever saw in Halloween 2018. David Gordon Green doesnt understand how to build suspense and dread.
