MapleStory isn't the same as 2003-2010 unfortunately. The golden era was 2004-2008. MapleRoyals is a good private server and very popular v62 / v83 server, but it's still not 2003-2010 times anymore.

The new maplestory is stupid. No group activies until late game. Its like playing a solo game. Classic maple is always going to be the enjoyable maplestory. Rewarding and community interation which will never come back in the current maplestory. Nexon refuses to release a classic world for people to enjoy and its against game rules to bring it up in a thread. It shows people bring it up a lot. They are just lazy ass' that want to stick with their pay to win shit game. I can't wait for the day Nexon goes out of business of their maplestory shuts down for good like their maplestory 2 one did. Also that shows how much of a fail their ideas are. Yes im salty about it lol.

MapleStory is a good game, but todays MapleStory will never revive any of the old social aspect and party gameplay that everyone once enjoyed.
If you are looking to get into MapleStory, i highly suggest Private Servers. Particularly MapleRoyals and MapleLegends

I wish there was a game just like this. I used to play maple daily for like 8 years as a kid, but over time it got too many classes, similar classes, and over powered moves. All the 5th jobs look the same

Lel I remember the Good Ol times when we were constantly fighting Guild Vs Guild and hating eachother. And stealing wives and getting married In Game. There was alot of drama and that made the game so addicting. I think now it changed so no one talks its kinda boring no ?

This game aint worth playing for ages. Dead game, braindead ppl who "take care "of it, bugs,boring events,ill stop there.oh yea i forgot the pay to win also.

Maplestory is a korean mmo so expect to have to grind a bit but its not as bad as people make it seem. You level at a decent pace and they keep implementing better exp rates. Party play is more of an endgame thing but thats like every mmo these days. Yes the grind is long but if your playing mmos then you should be used to this. If you are new to mmos then what does time matter if you are having fun.

I don't think so though, seeing how old and outdated the game is now and seeing how dead the game sure is back when I did make a return back to this game.

Classic maple story was lit. I remember this from when I was like 19. But they changed it way too much, way more complicated than it used to be, removal of things that made it special, so it kind of sucks now.

It took me months to get level 30 when I was a kid LOL, I know I was bad but man the XP scaling has changed a lot

I played this game back when there was just two servers, scania and bera. It took me at least a month to make it to level 45 and he got there in an hour hahaha

Let's be real. We were all little kids when we played it. And those who play it today are mostly mainly people in their mid 20s. Not that there's anything wrong with playing it as an adult.

I would say it is not correct to say but this game is more polished as free to play game than other games that you have to buy, in this game people spend thousands of dollars so of course it had insane resources

they need to go back to ver 0.62 -0.55 to make it work again

I still don’t understand how to follow the start of the adventure like it’s very first time that I’m playing this type of mmo and I feel lost cause of how the game works but also how the story works but especially how to fight and survive because I’m doing everything to survive but mobs always kill me too fast 😭
