This is exactly why I'm never ever getting pregnant. First of all the lack of basic knowledge about the a woman's body is bad enough, but as soon as he mentions that she's pregnant there's no more talking about what is safe for her it's only about the fetus, who cares if she has pneumonia she's just the incubator.

My local hospital won't allow a pregnant patient to be admitted anywhere other than to the maternity ward. I've seen lots of people complaining about that even in the comments of this channel. THIS IS WHY THEY DO IT.

Do you want doctors not providing adequate treatment because of what you saw here or do you want to be admitted to a ward where people at least know that fluids don't have a 200% fatality rate when administered via IV to pregnant patients?

Lol the er got my wife in as she was prego we didnt know and the male nurse just goes to the phone and calls ob and screams like a in pain help me scream into the phone OB was down there and hauling my wife away in less then 5 mins

They act weird if theres even a possibility of you being pregnant, and the amount of judgmental statements I've gotten about my sex life while not being married. I get that pregnancy changed what can and cannot happen if keeping the baby, but sheesh it's horrible how much bias and judgement goes onto womens health and medicine.

A friendly reminder that were still "discovering" things about womens reproductive anatomy... that lots of standards of practice in womens reproductive health are more based on arbitrary tradition than fact...and that even OBGYNs dont have to do any specilized study beyond any other medical doctors to qualify for the position.

This is nonsense. Most pregnant women are safer seeing a general practitioner if they are hellbent on seeing a doctor instead of a midwife. The midwife will be her best bet.

Went to the er whwn i was 2 months pregnant as soon as i said pregnant they sent me 2 towns over i just needed fluids

When I worked in labor and delivery, the ER called us for every pregnant female regardless of reason she was there. If there was no doc available, they would even ask us nurses what to do with them. When I worked in ER, I watched the ER docs scramble to get to the phone to call labor and delivery. 😂

I lost my baby because of this.. i should have sued the shit out of that doctor i had pink streaking and severe cramps all he did was draw blood and check my cervix and tell me i was still pregnant. I requested to go somewhere else but he came up with every reason why i didnt need to be transferred... Very next night i got to be gaslit by the nurse from the same hospital about how that doctor would never do something like that as im sitting on a puppy pad she slid under me they didnt even help me get the fetus out they sent me home and i spent the rest of the night losing them in the bathtub and was so weak i couldnt stand for 2 weeks.. so ladies if you dont feel like something is right seek help elsewhere i would have but we didnt have gas and if youre in the same perficament dont take no for an answer
