RTX 4070 - Worth it at $599? - 1440p Gameplay Benchmarks

I don't know what happened in Hogwarts Legacy but it's not running at 1080p High as shown in the top right corner. It's at 1440p Ultra with DLAA!

The editing program probably grabbed some file from another project and replaced it, that's the only explanation as it can't be a typo lol.

Maybe because I am a regular guy but whenever he says its extra smooth or extra sharp while applying dlss I dknt really see much or really any difference. could anyone point out specific places in the video

I just bought 1440p 180hz monitor, and mine 3060Ti isn't happy. Frames are usually around 60-100 depending on title and settings. Is 4070 good upgrade? My limiting factor is 650W psu at the moment. Also 11400F might be issue i guess. What should i do pls halp guys :(

I just picked one up for $515, I feel pretty good at that price but certainly not at $600.

imo rtx4070 is definately a good GPU, but if you don't want to upgrade your monitor from 1080p to 1440p，it‘s not much worthy.

extreme setting with 1440p still cannot beat ps5 120 fps look it's drooping to 90 i will go for ps5 again for this game

I went with the 4070 alone because of the size of my rig. I am not replacing my rig so I could have more space for another card. I will do that proably within the next 3 years or so.

I ended up buying this card after watching this review. I'm really happy with it. Could I ask one of you guys or girls in the know why I'm getting clock speeds of up to 2850 on a card that says it has a max boost of 2610? (MSI Gaming Trio X). Cheers.

I had the same problem with valorant at one point. Valorant doesn't work properly with Windows 11, i tried finding out why secure boot doesnt work but theres no explanation. Windows 10 is still superior.

The 4070 looks very good but it is not worth upgrading from a 30 series card.

I copped mine for 501 Euro and a cs knife i didnt use for 85 euro

these test prove 12GB Vram is not enough. It's almost always at the limit of use.

I really appreciate you testing it out and having a grid. I wanted to see how much watts it would take. With it at a low 180-190 I can definitely be able to upgrade with it and not have to get a better power supply.

So glad i came across this video, i have just ordered a rog with the 4070 in it, i was so worried you was going to say its a poor gpu but im now extremely excited to get my new pc.

I'm using a 4070 with a AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d and I get around 130fps on average so that's interesting

Fromsoftware engine is outdated even on console the doesn't run smooth

4070 is a very good card, the 4090 is just not for the average consumer

DLSS, good RT performance and low power consumption is what makes this card more appealing to me than 7800 XT, and they're both currently priced similarly in EU (less than €50 difference).
I'll just wait a few more months until the prices settle and when we see FSR 3.0 in action.
