To use blockchain to transfer real property, you’d hav to change state property laws. Deeds are official when recorded at county recorder/registrar office. A blockchain deed would not legally transfer real property

Why do you hate the free market? If it's any other market you won't say anything. There are NFTs that you need for utility. Some increase your rewards when yield farming.

Every NFT is worthless anyway. Same with crypto currencies. They only have value because people say they do and they have no real world worth because you can't use them for anything. Even a penny has more worth because I could use that coin for something other than its monetary value. If the end of the world comes I'd rather have a pocket full of change than billions in crypto and NFTs.

NFTs have always been worthless. It's just that their price tags are closer to reflect their value than before.

I lost $50 trying to ride the Gamespot wave and my girlfriend at the time was furious with me. At least I was not stupid enough to get an NFT.

They've always been "worthless". There was an attached value to something that had no inherent value. This was just to prey on the gullible and anyone with half a brain would see it was not a sustainable market.

The problem is that hype always brings out scammers. "NFT" is just a buzzword made to describe something that's already existed for years on the internet. Anyone that's played an MMO has at one time owned an NFT just not a blockchain NFT. I seriously don't see any other applications for the tech behind NFTs other than videogames because youve got to life in a virtual environment to appreciate such a thing. I honestly think a videogame where you actually sell shit you won by playing is a cool idea but companies will never profit from that idea... i think.

I always knew this was going to flop the moment i heard the term NFT. Couple friends around me trying to explain that this is the future and all that BS when all the NFTs they own are now worthless.

I won't lie, I was sweating bullets over here about the environmental destruction caused by NFTs. I really worried this would plague us for a lot longer than it has. But on the upside, this saved Takashi Murakami's company, even if I hated him (an environmentalist) selling his soul for it. At least the destruction was brief. Maybe he was hoping for that as well.

Edit: I was always impressionable in the past, and even I didn't take NFT's seriously. Though it probably helps that I only heard of it from drama channels lul. As for cryptos, yeah I hope those die out as well. Mostly because I'm bitter lul. Let's just say I knew about BTC since 2011 back when I was still a minor without any money. They went for 30 cents each at the time lul. But rest assured, though there are those regrets, I am most satisfied with my life in general.

People can get your address quite easily as it is........ You don't need the blockchain, you order from amazon, you stream, you have a prime account, you have addresses listed there. There are literally dozens of vectors someone could currently get the majority of your information.

People may try still try to shill NFTs because some people made a lot money off them but that is the hallmark of a scam. The early adopters will get rich off of new and trending scams, and everyone else afterwards will be left holding the bag.

I didn't buy NFTs, because they were an obvious scam, and now I am typing this from the actual home I actually own, with actual proof of ownership.
Sometimes, hard work pays off.
