ОтветитьRedundant. T-bar dl done w/out lifting straps, a high shrug at the top of each rep, and a deficit if trainee is able. Compound pull (I'd go pull-up). Compound push (I'd go dip).

ОтветитьCurrently i am doing bench , squats, deadlifts, barbell rows , barbell, overhead press on monday Wednesday friday 3 sets each .. and biceps ,triceps, calf , traps on Tuesday Thursday Saturday and sunday off .. am i overtraining? What can i do for better cardiovascularity so i can go on without getting shorter on breath

ОтветитьI'm scared of the deadlift! The last time I tried it, I suffered lower back pain. It took about 3/4 months to heal.

ОтветитьGreat stuff! But what do you recommend for a 69 yr old with wonky shoulders? Have been doing body weight squats &lunges, along with hammer curls & skull busters with light weight. Really want to get back to 40-50 push-ups. Thanks!

ОтветитьFor squats, I've heard some people suggest ass to ankles but you do 90 degrees. Is there any reason or benefit why?
ОтветитьWith all due respect to you and your extensive background in training, there is simply no justification for including the Dip, and Reverse Lunge while omitting the Barbell Row, and Overhead Press. Whereas I personally have no problem with the Dip or the Reverse Lunge, they pale in comparison to the Barbell Row and Overhead Press for building strength and a well rounded body. If you felt that strongly about them, you would have been better off making it 8 exercises instead of 6, at least in my opinion.
