Today Trump has the Heritage Foundation behind him, complete control of the Government and Project 2025 will go into effect. Trump also took big donations from billionaires who all want favours. I doubt the voters will be happy with Trump's Presidency.

Surely Trump will just do what he did last time. Appoint people to 'acting' roles, which don't need Senate confirmation. When the period for temporary appointment is ending, merely fire the person, and hire someone else, again in an 'acting' role.
The only criteria are unfailing obedience, and complete lack of a moral compass.

I served in two armies of other anglophone countries. Were there generals who were known to have tied themselves to the woke/DEI agenda, yes. Just as some tied themselves to various war fighting doctrines or the acquisition of some capabilities. Generals work at the military/political interface. Their views are known. As the DEI/woke agenda took hold in the military those who actively promoted it were well known.

On a technical matter, you do not have to be an MP or a member of the Lords to be appointed as a Minister in the UK. A non-MP/peer was last appointed as a Minister in 1964. Harold Wilson appointed him, but arranged for another Labour MP to step down and force a by election in which the Minister would be Labour’s candidate. When he lost the by election and failed to become an MP, the Minister stood down. No one has tried to do this since, but it’s still possible.
