ОтветитьMy K10.2 stopped working last night mid gig. Now it's stuck in this 'protect mode 4' I can't do anything it just keeps restarting over and over. I can't hear the test tone at all. but even if I could it just keeps restarting and stays in protect mode. Is there a way to do a hard reset on these things?

ОтветитьThis is ridiculous. I have waited for the speakers for three months, and when I finally received them and used them at a gig last week, BOTH speakers reduced to almost inaudible levels of sound twice during the night and I had to go restart them. Once, I was only using the microphone and there wasn’t any music playing (I am a DJ) and it still reduced volume.
I am searching for a solution because I would love to keep the speakers after all the great things I’ve heard about them, but I am not finding any to this problem. Anyone know what’s up??

ОтветитьMy take on this is the ppl that recently bought k12.2 have a dropping out of sound and speakers going out while playing thinking its the xlr cable or the power line 🤷🏿♂️ i had mines for almost 3yrs and dont have that problem knock on wood 🤦🏽♂️

ОтветитьI can't even open the Firmware Updater package on my Mac. I keep getting an alert that says the file is damaged and I should trash it. WTF? QSC...where are you?

Lots of good questions but not one answer from QSC.
I don't know yet why the speakers need an update or what the update will actually do.
The "damage to speaker" thing people are seeing doesn't make me want to be in a hurry.
Does anyone know anything more about it?

ОтветитьHello good day, update the k12.2, but at the end it shows me the message: PROTECT MODE 4 POSSIBLE SPEAKER DAMAGED DETECTED. And from there it does not progress even though the test is performed correctly.

I have the qsc k12.2 units. Im currently working on the qsc firmware updates. I have followed all steps accurately. Here's what I'm experiencing.
A quick pop up message appears on the display on the speaker unit:
"Possible speaker damage detected"
This disappears quickly before you can select "next"
Then.
On the computer side I'm getting:
"NGK update failed"
However, the speaker appears to be working properly and the update setting model displays the correct updated firmware #.
Any insight folks?
I own two k8.2's and two k12.2's. Updated the firmware on the 8.2's but on both of the 12.2's I got at the end of the update the message "PROTECT MODE 4 POSSIBLE SPEAKER DAMAGED DETECTED". This message disappear quickly with no time to click NEXT. Update app says "Update failed". Rebooted speakers and they appear to work OK. What should I do? Thanks in advance.
