The "bent rod" effect is something that pisses me off so freaking bad when it happens to me. I go to massive lengths to not let it happen including reeling up fish with my rod in the water almost up to the reel so other boats won't see the bent rod. It doesn't happen often, thankfully, but it does happen. Gotta protect those honey holes, ya know. 👍🇺🇸
