My Horrible Nightmare Group Project

A student that works 7 am to 10 pm saturday and sunday... I call absolute bullcrap lmao

group work really sucks, mostly when you have to be with a random group (really feels like no one is working this sucks)

😅 Had a psychology lecture class that did this with the main project. 70% of the grade, final test the last 30%. TAs randomly grouped us in 4. The other three gave me their emails/cell numbers and I spread headed the project. They NEVER showed to any meetups. Always was "too busy" until all three of them said, you're smart. You do it and put our names on the project. Turns out all three of them were the sorority girls that were husband hunting. They didn't care about getting a degree. I had all of this in writing and text. I IMMEDIATELY went to the TA and Professor. Yeahhhhhhhhhh. I did the whole project myself because I didn't want to fail the class. The project was supposed to be presented by the groups during the class. Professor said to not say anything else to these girls. When it was presentation day Professor called my group to the front, then asked me to sit back down and asked the three girls about the project. Highlighted their failures in front of the whole class including projecting the emails telling me to do the project myself and put their names on it. 😂 Oh yeah! I loved my Professor and TA. The girls were made to sit down as I came up and actually presented the project by myself. I got an A. Last I heard, all three were kicked from the sorority and from their different major programs for that stunt and similar ones.

This lit happened to me this semester. This guy in my project really pissed me off bc he didn’t do anything. I ended up emailing the prof and the prof took marks off his part of the project. Serves him right for slacking and making me and my other group mate do all the work.

I feel for you I really do. I am SO glad my animation courses didn't require group projects (probably because I did them all online extra introvert) Props. Massive props.

I had a similar experience like this in 7th grade. The project was about Australia, and I was paired with my best friend and my "friend." we are gonna call my best friend Amy and my "friend, " Millie (nothing against the millie's, my cousin is named millie). Anyway, both me and amy have a hard time focusing and are kinda slow workers, so that's not very helpful😅. There were 10 parts we had to do, and we decided to do 3 each and do the last one together. Me and amy decided to let millie choose the 3 parts she wanted to do first. After we chose our parts, the only thing millie did was complain that her parts were so hard and that it was impossible to do, like she got to choose first. We ended up with a blue poster with a bunch of text 5 pictures and one pop-up thing(you were supposed to make the poster exiting, so we didn't get the best grade😅 )

I just noticed that in the google search "most annoying girl names" the first website-one of the names said "Jaiden" XD

During my senior year I
had a crappy group project where I ended up in a similar situation with me doing 85% of the work and so I used this video as inspiration and added credits to the project. And the other group members never asked to see the final project so they never found out

This is one reason I’m introverted and despise group projects. I prefer independent projects for this reason. Lack of communication.

In my school (5th grade, maybe 6th), we had to do a group project about some social studies stuff. I was with three people. On the first day, one person wasn’t there and I finished my slide way to early. I decided to work on the person that was absent, but then the other kid in my group was like “hey, can you help me on my slide?” I was like, “okay?” And what ended up happening was I had to do all my work, plus these two kid’s work, and an additional slide because we forgot to sort something out. The third kid was cool though, he did his work.

Me teacher said to do the video 5-6 min and I did 16.05min😅

Honestly I only like group projects if I'm really bad at it (music, pe projects, reporting, etc) but if it's something like an essay I could probably do it myself.

There was this one girl in my Theater class (let’s call her Madison) and we were supposed to do a little show in groups to the rest of the class. My group decided to do a murder mystery scene. Basically a girl invited her friends to her house (which includes her bf, her bff, and me as her ex bf). Then the girl and her bff play a prank of a murder mystery to me and the bf.
Madison got the role of the girl. So, to get into character, Madison decided to unbutton her top 😨.
Then, later, she came up to me, and I had noticed that she had unbuttoned her top. Suddenly, Madison cried “oh! You looked at my chest” and then proceeded saying “oh! You looked again!” Over and over and over again. Like, girly, what? First of all, it’s 6th grade. It ain’t gonna be that deep. Second of all, you got a chest flatter than a sheet of paper, so what is there to look at anyway? This is why you don’t associate with people who unbutton their tops, cause it honestly traumatized me 😰

I’m in college and I had an ‘interesting’ roommate during the last half of my first year. If I’m in any classes with her that require group projects, I’m gonna beg the professor to not let me be in a group with her just cause sharing a room with her was so unpleasant.
