Yup I myself recommend the cannon M50 too 👌🏽
ОтветитьThat nano 5 was a great device for its time!
ОтветитьWell done... With the low tec
ОтветитьSuch a positive message and advice for creators! 👍
ОтветитьLove this video! I have spent so much time and money on gear, but you are right. The message matters so much more than the equipment.
ОтветитьGenuinely the best way to show making content is above all. Genius
ОтветитьKevin thanks as always and I just wanted to say I’m so so proud of your growth here and you have taught us all so much. 😊
ОтветитьI wish your channel had been around 10 years ago. Or at least discovered you a couple of years ago. Excellent content my new friend.
ОтветитьI was curious about something: when using your phone’s camera, wouldn’t you prefer to use the rear camera due to its higher quality, instead of the selfie camera? Granted, with the rear camera you can’t see yourself, but I was wondering what your choice would be and why.
Great very helpful videos, as always.
Thanks so much from sunny Thailand. Will get my channel up and running once I’ve finished my chicken shed!
ОтветитьExcellent message. Progress not perfection. The gold is in the message and knowledge shared. Thank you for this video.
ОтветитьHello Kevin, I actually have an old I pod. I haven’t used it I a very long time. Thank you for sharing and encouraging. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓
ОтветитьI’ve seen that the audio is more important than the video. I agree… because we will listen to a movie in the background if we’re working.. but if we’re watching video … with no audio, audience just STOPS watching.
ОтветитьYes. I just got an iPhone 16 pro max. But before it I was using an iPhone 11. It wasn’t Spielberg… but it did its job. Yes, just go… do it. Like a reporter on the scene, they just shoot and wing it. It’s more important to show up, than to say “I should have….” 😅😊😅😊
ОтветитьYou can even use Zoom.
ОтветитьAnother epic upload Kevin ✨keep them coming 🫂
ОтветитьVery good video. I have invested in a decent mic, but I'm just using low end camcorders and the quality seems fine. Main issue I had with cheaper digital cameras was limited video recording time. At least the camcorders allow me to do 1 take videos without cutting out! 😅. Thanks 😀 👍
ОтветитьI started my channel on a $35 Aceatel cellphone... my first videos was horrible 5 years later i got a Samsung s24 and a go pro hero 8. All that matters is that you hit record. You gotta start somewhere 😊
ОтветитьLove this message you delivered via the Nano! And spot on that it is the message that is important!
ОтветитьHello Kevin from the over 60 year old creators. Started my channel a couple of years ago, although it has been a steady growth, it's been slower than I am. Have always been into the "Golden era of Cinema" and History, so I thought I would marry the two. Just wanted to say I'm enjoying your channel, and thanks for rooting for us old guys! Cheers, Dale.
ОтветитьIt actually looks pretty good
ОтветитьThx for this. I actually have gear but one thing I noticed was a bottleneck sharing from my phone. It’s a lot of work to keep the phone memory clean so you have space to post. The social media apps cache gets full and won’t allow you to upload. That has held me back a few times . Not sure if anyone else experienced that
ОтветитьI read you can't go Live until 1000 Subscribers
ОтветитьAudio is much more important than video.
ОтветитьI love this! Thanks for the encouragement 🙌 its only up from here, for me!
ОтветитьIt has been a huge benefit to me and my channel to see you building your channel and growing so rapidly!! Can’t wait until I get to your level and become fully comfortable with speaking to my audience through the lens!!
ОтветитьGreat thank you for sharing 👍😎
ОтветитьI really like watching your videos. You are very natural in front of the camera. Thanks for the advice!!
ОтветитьLove this! The message is always more important than the medium!
ОтветитьI’m excited to start making my videos, and I agree the message is the most important- but what makes you sure you picked the right message? At first, my message was going to be me showing my art and making art and tips and fun things but then I was diagnosed with a brain tumor which has sort of dominated my life and everything I do is all about my health and creating art helps me deal with stress and daily thoughts until I have my surgery and further treatment. Is that something I should hide from viewers? Would it turn people off? If I just talk about happy art I think I’d be faking it, to be honest, at least some of the time. Just looking for an opinion. Thanks-
ОтветитьI’m trying.. so far I started this 30 day self love challenge to grow my self esteem but also to kind of get used to and learn along the way
ОтветитьGood enough is perfect! Ship your art!
ОтветитьKevin, This was an important video. I've had a channel since March 2024. I don't have many subscribers, but that's okay with me. I use my laptop to do my videos. It's what I have. I might have something better one day, but I'm not worried about it. I enjoy making the videos and sharing a part of me with the world. I like your laid-back attitude and don't feel pressured when watching your videos. Thank you for your message.
ОтветитьWow, this is really proven that you don’t need much or anything new.
Ответитьamazing video Kevin, i will get an affordable camera and create. Your advice weighs immensely!!!!!
ОтветитьCan you recommend some cheap cameras under 100$? Or what to look for in a 4k camera for Noobs? lmfao TY in advance Sir!! God Bless!!
ОтветитьI really love older tech camera. I mean the ipod, the old smartphones. Their color is more natural with very few processing and the focal length... Oh how i hate the default wide focal length of iPhone these days.
ОтветитьThanks Kevin !
ОтветитьThank you for this series! I just turned 55 and started my own channel! To say that I have stepped way out of my comfort zone is an understatement. I almost didn't post my first video out of fear. Fear that the quality isn't good enough, the editing isn't up to snuff...I am boring! I finally posted it because if I didn't, I never would. I know my topic very well, it is the technical side that I am playing catch up on. Thank you again for your words of encouragement for anyone, but especially those of us who are older. I think this is an important way to connect with people now and share knowledge that could end up being lost forever in a digital world.
ОтветитьSo I have no problem working the simple gear I have. And I know how to use Final Cut. I just don't know what I have to talk about. I could do "How To" videos for craft items ( I know how to do leather bags, 3d models, laser engraving, cut paper art, etc.) but that seems like a big production with overhead shots, etc for starting out.
Ответитьmessage + sincerity goes a looooong way
ОтветитьTech gear including computers aren’t obsolete until they don’t do what you NEED them to do. Great video, thanks for your inspiration!
ОтветитьThis film quality adds an authentic feel and realness to the vlog
ОтветитьI really like the video from the Nano. Has a nice vintage/live feel. When watching you forget about video's quality. Sound and message is far more important. Thanks for the great video!
