Cracking Carp mate my PB is 23lb 12oz I caught that on my pole down at Viaduct fishery about 6 years ago and it came in like a wet sock

Really enjoying your videos - interesting that the fish are now starting to feed. Had a similar experience last week fishing for silvers using a pellet feeder with a 6mm yellow dumbbell - first cast 16lb common Carp which was great fun on 6lb line and a 1oz tip. 🤔.

Well done Alan, I fancy a session on there but the walk/access puts me off as I ive no barrow ( struggle to get one in car with all tackle we take these days) .what size washters did you use to catch that mighty fish please and colour? The fishing is definitely getting better as I fished (good peg) 6 on bottom lake Tuesday and caught 100 big f1s !! Yes 100 ! Started long 14mtr ish ,down edge then emptied it shallow 7.5mtr .soft pellet, hard pellet and maggot. Thought I'd let you know now that matches start soon.

The more I see your mighty hat and coat, the more I like them. I really liked the way the coat matched the sky on that day. Proper bream are a real treat to me. Always loved them, regardless of the carp lad griping about them. Well, I never gripe about getting carp when fishing. So why gripe about bream??? Don't make no sense to me. Hehehe.

What a Mighty fisherperson you are Nosh. Just think what Harthill is like when the fish are properly feeding, great bream fishing with decent carp thrown in makes for a great day's fishing. The fishing will improve even more so when the level returns to normal, those carp will be caught with a simple underarm lob. Nice to 'bump' into Dave and yourself on my daily walk. Too dodgy those banks mate, I prefer over the hill at Kiveton waters, drive to your peg and it's stuffed with fish and a good breakfast thrown in.
