I’m looking for a very minimal solution sheet tank for as little as 1 or 2 of 2x3 and 4x5. But I do like the SP-445. Can it sleeve 2x3?
ОтветитьJOBO is horrible to load😢
ОтветитьCan you develop color film in the sp445?
ОтветитьThis is a very good, informative vid. Thanks. I just got a B's 4x5 holder for developing and a Patterson 3 reel tank to start my journey in 4x5! I'm so excited, and the B's 4x5 holder, after watching videos seems super easy to load and nice to use and like it leaves plenty of space for the film to develop evenly and never touch other sheets or fall out. $60 for the B's 4x5 tube, and $35 for the patterson developing tank. I'm very pleased!
ОтветитьI really like my Combiplan for developing up to six 4x5 film sheets or glass plates (never shoot glass plates, but they can also be developed with this system)
ОтветитьUnicolor print drums are a great and cheap option for 4x5 film developing.
Ответитьhello Nicos , what is the reference of the Jobo tank shown in this video which is using the 2509 reel ? thanks
ОтветитьI use the Stearman SP-8x10 for 4x5 and it works very well.
ОтветитьOnce I tried tray developing, I have not used any other method since. The balance of control and consistency is fantastic plus you can inspect each negative individually in order to make adjustments when you develop your next sheet.
ОтветитьNot wrong at all in regard to loading the 2 series Jobo reels . I have nearly thrown mine across the room a few times . Thanks for reminding me I'm not the only one who finds them a pain to use . On the other hand they do as you say, consistently perform which ultimately is what matters .
ОтветитьLove the FED-2 on the shelf behind you!
ОтветитьGracias muchacho!!!!!
ОтветитьI always used those 2509 reels and the film loaders; never a problem. I even used to load them in a changing bag. But it never even occurred to me to do it without the loader.
ОтветитьThanks for all the information that you provide on your channel! I would like to see how you scan a 5x4 format. Thanks
ОтветитьThough I normally use my Jobo with Expert Drums to develop both 4x5 and 8x10, I've just recently started using a QL-45-JP from 20th Century Camera for those processes where I don't want rotary agitation. This reel is super easy to load and I've not had any problems with sheets slipping loose; it holds 6 sheets.
ОтветитьI got my SP445 three years ago and found it foolproof other than user mistakes, whitch would have had the same result in any tank system. I have even brought it on vacation so I could unload two of my film holders, and reload with fresh film. Best value for money.
ОтветитьI've heard some good things of B's 4x5 developing reel.
ОтветитьThe best part of the Jobo Expert Tanks is that they're actually the most chemistry-efficient of all these options. The amount of chemistry you use is different depending on how much film you put in it, so for only 4-5 sheets a 3010 tank will use almost half as much chemistry as some of these other choices. (Of course its also the most expensive choice, by far.)
ОтветитьDo you see any difference between the SP445 and a combi plan except maybe less chemicals being used?
