Bold and Hero are the best.
ОтветитьI agree with every word that you said
ОтветитьSD has the worst customer service. Long wait times too. Definitely never dealing with them again.
ОтветитьMy first order with Provident was for random 1 oz rounds. It was 25.99ea. A couple days later after the spot price dropped those same rounds are now showing $27.61ea. Do these dealers price lower for 1st time buyers and then raise up after you create an account and place an order? I've heard airline prices will go up on people when they delay buying tickets and you need to clear out cookies or use a VPN to stop that. Just curious if anybody else has noticed this.
ОтветитьI don't buy bars or rounds because they are not real money but rather processed industrial metals. Good luck with selling them for cash when the flood of sellers all try to dump their bars and rounds. Coin shops will close the buying window for this junk and elect to buy 90% silver coins because they are real money in all 50 states and US possessions.
ОтветитьSD Bullion used to be a great place to buy until 2 years ago and that run ended with me. No good to sell to either.
ОтветитьAPMEX is the most expensive place to buy previous metals from in my 14 year experience. I avoid them for everything and don't sell to them.
ОтветитьI wouldn't buy from SD Bullion when the market isn't open. Over the weekend, their "spot price" was $10 over Friday's closing price. That's not including their premium.
ОтветитьJMbullion is my go to. They have a military discount so that is the deciding factor for me.
ОтветитьWHAT ABOUT Beverly Hills precious metals?
ОтветитьSD 10 ounce silver bars past 2 months have been over 15% higher then Monument & Hero. I will not make a phone call to get price match. Only want lowest price and free shipping. Had trouble with a $950 order from Monument that got shipped back to them. Two hours after I sent them an email great customer service emailed me back. Glad you are not one of JD boot lickers advertising the give away of a monster box for last 4 months. What century are they going to give it away. Then supply the winners name so somebody can make sure they finally got off their butts & awarded it.
ОтветитьAs some one living in Florida I can't rationalize using any company near the west coast due to 7-10 day delivery times.
ОтветитьSD Bullion: Not the cheapest prices. Period. Monument beats them consistently. Monument and Hero are the two best IMHO.
ОтветитьAt one time JM was my go-to source but now Monument is in first place with SD bringing up second place . Monument has a great selection and their prices blow away most of the so called "lowest/best price" sellers !
ОтветитьWhere's Money Metals? I've almost exclusively bought from them. Absolutely no complaints. Not always the cheapest but love their product and their monster boxes are second to none.
ОтветитьHero bullion seems to have the best products and shipping with a lower free shipping requirement at 150$
ОтветитьThanks for this video! I’m still pretty new to building coins, but I started only buying from APMEX because I just didn’t know any better lol. Videos like these have helped me make less nooby mistakes. Cheers.
ОтветитьI do 90% of my business with Great Lakes Coin, their website is easy to use, no hidden “as low as” pricing schemes, but their selection is limited. Bold is inflexible and really sloooowwww. I’d put them in the caution category. I like JM, my second choice and not too shabby, but second choice = 2% of my business. Hero, used to do a lot of business with them but their customer service blows, and their website is terrible.
ОтветитьPhysical check if you are from the 1800’s? Really?
ОтветитьMonument metals has been my go to for a while. They may not have the rarities, but their pricing is usually always better than other sites and spot price is almost always 0.10$ cheaper.
ОтветитьWhat do you think of pimbex? I’m new to stacking and they have some libertads which is the cheapest I can find compared to others and thinking of picking some up
ОтветитьI only use SDbullion. They do really well with pricing in the deals section. The first time I used them I got a 10 gram gold bar at spot which is pretty dope. But the shipping is pretty fast too.
ОтветитьPinehurst Coins is number one for me right now..."Dead men tell no tales" rounds are the coolest silver round ever and they are cheap. They are selling like crazy and I'm sure they will bring massive premiums in the future long after they quit making them.
ОтветитьRanking a company in the Danger Zone because they didn't want to pay for your "branded", "copyrighted" text is a bit childish and detracts from the validity of your rankings all together.
ОтветитьGreat video sir, thank you very much for this insightful comparison!
ОтветитьI like Scottsdale but their shipping is really slow.
ОтветитьDo you know of Money Metals?
ОтветитьHero was Provident. They are very good. Silver Gold Bull is very good. Some regional post offices suck so I don't order from a couple of good companies who go through those post offices.
ОтветитьI love paying more at APMEX because it makes me feel like my coins are more valuable
ОтветитьI have five that I research for every purchase to compare prices. But the key for me is to SIGN UP for the relentless barrage of emails.... and then READ them... there are COMMON weekly sales for coins and rounds and bars. For example, Hero had goldbacks a full dollar less for EACH "Utah 1". Plus, I recently included PIMBEX to my list. Oh, when you sign up your email with any, you commonly get a 'first time buyer super discount' of some sort (like NO premium). The temptation is REAL! Be sure to have $300 bucks ready to spend to take full advantage of the deals.
ОтветитьHow is nationwide?
ОтветитьAnother awesome video !
This video is very informative and necessary one for anyone who just started out !
It is ashamed for the United States Mint to be so trash … perhaps, when you don’t take and there is NO pride in your work , then everything turned TRASH = BAD !!!
What about Liberty coin? I find their prices have been better than most, am I completely wrong (majority of what I purchase are 1 oz gold American eagles and buffalos)
ОтветитьYou should add one more category to be judged by, and that is PACKAGING.
I have lost a few items to theft (in the mail, before it ever reached me), and that was due to the way J.M Bullion packaged their coins...loose, in a big box. The thief probably just shook the box, figuring out that there were coins inside. They ripped the corner open, and just slid out the coins.
Now, I ONLY deal with APMEX. They aren’t the cheapest, but man, they package their coins second to none. I don’t worry about my coins being stolen by USPS or UPS before it even arrives at my door.
The peace of mind I get with APMEX, knowing the packaging is extremely difficult to rip into and steal items, is absolutely priceless.
Peace. 🐰💙🇺🇸🗽🎸🎶🤝✌️
shipping seems to reflect on credit card-paypal or check or e-check-paypal a buck over per ounce-but fast shipping-e-check a week longer but a buck cheaper-never done personal check-it's hard to wait for e-check to clear-but less money per ounce-thoughts?-looking things over-it's all about the sales these companies play-the premium is where they get you
ОтветитьI agree with you on Bullion Exchanges, Monument Metals, Silver Gold Bull and SD Bullion...these are all great companies to do business with...Bullion Exchanges #1...Silver Gold Bull #2...SD Bullion #3...Monument Metals #4...but I also like Liberty Coin which would be my #5 pick...I've had two orders through MCM...great prices...but everything seems to be pre-order and there's a wait for sure...but once it ships...it's there pronto...but I would have to place them in the MEH column...I hope this helps...smiles
ОтветитьMoney metal exchange legit?
ОтветитьGold precious metals best price but inventory is limited. Great if you like Germania coins
ОтветитьHands down only one mint for me.... Scottsdale Mint
ОтветитьAs a Texan, “Hero Bullion for me!
ОтветитьI feel like you miss couple off them DBS coins & Pinehurst coins.
ОтветитьHero Bullion and Monument Metals have been excellent for every category for me personally...I will only shop outside of them at Apmex when hero and Monument are out of ehat im looking for or if there is a certain coin i want.
I think SD Bullion is all hype from what ive heard..heard there customer service is terrible
Pricing should be the first category. Shipping costs, included? They all track shipping, so shipping range/distance would be second, do they ship outside of the US? Hawaii? US territories? The inventories are good to know.
ОтветитьDecent list MCM is a place I wouldn't ever buy bullion from although they are great for older proof, and uncirc mint sets. As well as error, and rarer certified coins. I think govmint is a shady rip off company surprised to see them so high on the list. And was wondering where would you place Money Metals Exchange? I hunt around these sites for deals/sales, but usually just go with a smaller LCS whos prices are consistently better, even the SD deal on the Brits (which I did jump on) they were only about 50¢ or so cheaper than my shops everyday price.
ОтветитьMy main problem with silver is the taxes. $4-5 over spot, not including the 10% CA sales tax
ОтветитьYour classification of Modern Coin Mart was plain off base. Deserves to be couple categories above that....just since you disagreed with them on a IP issue (to which they complied?), you trashed them in the worst category.
ОтветитьI have had good results with JM bullion in the past. My most recent purchases were with Hero bullion and they were outstanding. Good prices and super fast shipping.
ОтветитьWhat about Money Metals Inc. I have bought a lot from them. They are trustworthy but their premiums are high. I also buy from Southern Coins and Precious Metals. They have given me some good deals.
