Exactly what I thought must be possible, shame on you Apple. But hey, maybe Apple did this on purpose, to justify future improvements or form factor reduction, and asking for more money obviously, when it could have been done today.

What's the final weight of your design?

I would rather they just bring over the apple tv case to the mac linup, you can have both versions still with a apple tv focused model without the m series chips in it and then have a m series version designed to run mac os. Would allow apple to offer a really budget system in the $400-500 price point and get even more people into there mac eco system.

I'd really love to see what this looks like with an Ultra.

How can I determine if the power pin for the M2 20-pin connector has been changed? (Because I plan to buy an M2 Mac mini)

Regarding the data cable for the 20-pin connector, did you cut it from the Apple power system interface or did you buy it online? If it's the latter, how can I search for it?

For using the MagSafe interface, can I use an Anker PD charger and a 2015 version MagSafe cable (MagSafe to Type-C), instead of using the Surface charger that you used in the video? @snazzyq

The color is ugly. The so called fans who suggested Space Gray are full of it. GO WITH THE ELECTRIC BLUE. Bring back the orignial iMac Bondi Blue feeling or the Blueberry color that came after.

@snazzy Hey, now that the new M2 series Mac Minis are out, do you think you might do an updated iteration of this minaturization project with the highest-spec M2 Pro Mac Mini? Maybe make a version of it that can shrink into the size of a PCI-E card and slot into a gaming PC’s vertical slot and take advantage of the cooling provided by the PC’s front fans?

Nice project. You could have provisioned some VESA compatibility so you can attach it to the back of a monitor and build a custom screen iMac of sort!
