Billy Joel's finest album of many - I first heard this song in 1977 and have loved it and other songs on the album. There isn't a bad one on the album - my personal favorite is still "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" off this album.

Still my favorite song of his and I got to hear it live

The Stranger and 52nd Street are among the greatest Rock and Roll albums of the Late 20th Century, IMHO.

I was 16 when I first heard this. I'm now 62, still blown away by it 46 years later.

My dad was a huge Joel fan in the 80s when i a kid. After he passed away in the 90s anything Billy Joel always reminds me of him smiling on Joan's Beach or RM State Park.
