Even if you take liposomal glutathione, it will not get absorbed because it only gets produced at the cellular level. If you take it orally, it would be degraded in the stomach and the bile would completely neutralize it, making it completely ineffective and also because it would have to go from the bloodstream, across 2 cell membranes to get inside the cell

Taking Glutathione orally really doesnt work. If it was this easy then why do hospitals give glutathione intravenously when people are going thru Chemotherapy. You have to take the 3 amino acids that allow the body to make glutathione. Cysteine, Glycene and Glutamic Acid. I take Cellgevity as this delivers Cysteine to my cells, bypassing the stomach acids. There is a patent for this procedure, so I know it works. NAC is not always available. I've been taking Cellgevity for more than 10 years, and i dont get colds, flu, sore throats, sinus problems or any other aches and pains. Keeping your glutathione levels up, it really works.

Doctor:

I want to express my respect for your expertise as a medical professional. I have a few questions regarding your recommendations:
1. In medical school, did you primarily engage in coursework or were you extensively involved in research work?
2. Could you kindly provide specific research or studies supporting the assertion about Glutathione, along with recommendations on how to effectively manage its levels?
3. It's worth noting that “your” method of glutathione intake may not necessarily determine its effectiveness. The concept of achieving a balance between oxidants and antioxidants is key to understanding the body's defense mechanisms.

Oxidants: also known as free radicals, are molecules with unpaired electrons. They are naturally produced during various metabolic processes, such as cellular respiration. In controlled amounts, they serve vital roles in processes like cell signaling, immune response, and pathogen elimination.

Antioxidants: conversely, are molecules that can stabilize free radicals by neutralizing or "donating" electrons. They help prevent excessive damage that may result from an overabundance of free radicals.

Maintaining a delicate equilibrium between oxidants and antioxidants is crucial. An excess of free radicals can lead to oxidative stress, which is associated with various health issues including chronic inflammation, cardiovascular disease, and neurodegenerative disorders. Conversely, an excessive amount of antioxidants may potentially interfere with normal cellular functions.

Taking a combination of Glycine and N-acetylcysteine (NAC) offers a more balanced approach to supporting glutathione levels. Here's why:

Both glycine and NAC are amino acids that the body employs in synthesizing glutathione. By supplying these precursors, we essentially bolster the body's own production of glutathione.

This approach enables the body to regulate glutathione production based on its specific needs, maintaining a more natural balance compared to direct glutathione supplementation, which could potentially disrupt this equilibrium.

I also have a few more questions:
- Who conducted the research regarding the recommended 200mg dosage?
- What were the arguments or findings that supported this dosage?

I appreciate that you take periodic breaks in your supplementation regimen. However, it's important to note that even with this approach, there might still be some uncertainty. Providing the body with precursors like Glycine and NAC allows for the natural and balanced production of glutathione.

This is not a critique, but rather a testament to my journey. 20 years ago, I faced "life and death" challenges and encountered over a handful of different GPs, two gastroenterologists, and countless physiotherapists, chiropractors, and masseuses. Their common refrain was, "welcome to aging and welcome to arthritis." I realized I needed to take control of my own health and find my own path to recovery.

I know there are many individuals out there who, like me, would go to great lengths to regain their health, experience less pain, and regain mobility. It's a source of pride for me to share that at 62, turning 63 this week, I feel, look, and am as strong as a 40-year-old.

Dr Nick, I’m really confused? I started taking NAC you sell even bought a years supply. Now you’re saying we need to take this product. My mom was just diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer and I have her on the NAC. She just started chemotherapy and radiation for seven weeks. Is this product something I need to get her on while doing her treatments? And can I take both the NAC and this new product? And how and when do you recommend taking it? Thanks, Joseph

It’s better to take precursors to glutathione than to just dump high levels of glutathione. Our cells need to be able to regulate this process from the raw materials needed.

💊 Glutathione levels decrease with age, and even a 30% drop can lead to cellular dysfunction and various health conditions.
💊 Glutathione acts as a potent detoxifier, helping the body eliminate toxins from cells and tissues.
💊 It is the most powerful antioxidant, crucial for preventing cancer, disease, and inflammation.

💊 Glutathione improves cellular function and helps modulate the immune system, making it beneficial for autoimmune conditions and allergies.
💊 It supports mitochondrial function, the powerhouse of cells, and may play a role in preventing diseases associated with mitochondrial dysfunction.

💊 Glutathione has been shown to help with conditions like autoimmune diseases, Parkinson's, insulin resistance, severe type 2 diabetes, liver health, chronic inflammation, and skin disorders.
💊 High-dose glutathione is recommended for maximum benefit, using a highly absorbable form like S-acetyl-glutathione (200 mg).

💊 Healthy individuals can use glutathione for 30 days every four months to maintain high antioxidant levels and aid detoxification.
💊 Unhealthy individuals should take glutathione consistently until desired improvements occur and then use it intermittently in the future.
