Please Don't , it's not worth buying because its just a collection of his old videos with lot of talking and nothing much to learn. Plus I wasted so much time into going through his course.

this is super helpful! i loved how you explaned this. super easy to undertstand. i was wondering tho, how come some letters in the musical alphabet aren't included in the open strings, EADGBE. what about C and F notes?

Before I played jazz. I though in terms of good sounding riffs and boxes. Once I started playing jazz I started paying attention to not only the tonic but the other notes and which notes sound good together in a phrase.

Is it just me or does it feel inherently wrong to count the strings from the bottom to the top? Top to bottom just makes sense to me, but I’m new to all this so maybe I’ll appreciate it later? Thank you for your help! You are very much appreciated! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I have literally memorized the fret board alphabet after 8 minutes. Makes total sense.

I have been playing 2 weeks and watched a dozen videos on this. You are the FIRST to help me understand simply by moving down the A and laying out the next notes. I feel stupid

Did you ever see John Carpenter's In the Mouth of Madness? Near the end of the film, Trent tries to get Styles to go with him, but she tells him that she can't go, that she's read to the end of the book, this book of unspeakable insanity and horror. Well, I have that same relationship with the internet. So, every time someone says, "that's the g-string," all I can do is giggle. Calling it the Good string is probably going to be less disruptive to practicing.
