How to start Windows 10 in Safe Mode

Hi Dave, i remapped some keys for gaming purposes that included A and W key with UP and LEFT ARROW keys but A and W were also part of my windows login password, now on system restart i cant input those 2 keys. I tried Up and Left Arrow keys instead of A and W but they don't work either ... Can you please Help. Thanks.

I enabled all cores on my desktop but after I restarted, it is not working and saying your pc/device needs to be repaired, can someone please help me out with how can I disable all cores?

I dont have the startup settings...

So i pressed 4 to get into safe mode but after i do that nothing happens and the screen just stays black could you please help me?

2023 Update:

1) You can do this from the user accounts login menu, if you cant even get into your desktop like myself (due to overclocking GPU).

2) Safe mode is no longer under Advanced settings at the bottom, but a mains etting.
