Really it is very sad to say goodbye to Alcos. They follow the fate of steam engines. As the technology developed old things give way to new ones. But we miss the chugging, the smoke and the royal horns. Slowly and steadily we have to accept the reality. Thanks for the vlog Shubham. God bless.

Being a railfan i can feel the pain as alco locomotives were the heart of indian railways in early years and these alcos are legend no other locomotive either EMD or electric can beat them

We should request indian railways to run some trains with alco locomotives as heritage train so that our future generations can also know what and who was the heart of indian railways

Mai bata raha hu aaplogo ko ye electrification ka nautanki k bad bhi railway loss me hi chalega, hajaro kms railway network me electricity pahuchana, substations maintain karna,OHE maintain karna majak nahi hai kharcha bahut hai , toofan me bhi OHE damage hota reheta hai us time rail traffic thap ho jata hai, long and low traffic routes pe electric traction bahut expensive pad jata hai. Piyush goyal K pass itna buddhi nahi hai lekin baki countries k pass hai isi liye 100% electrification ka faltu kharcha nahi karte vo log , iske jagha fuel ko diesel se ethanol pe switch karne pe kamm kar rahe hai jo fossil fuel pe dependency khatam karega , aur bhi jayada sasta padega aur pollution ko negligible kar dega. Lekin jabarjasti ka development aur modernization bhi to dikhana hai, bewakoof sarkar!
