i feel like freddy in fnaf 1 disabling the cameras for 10 seconds (for EVERY movement) is far too much, maybe like 2-6 seconds instead or its a chance if itll knock out the cams
ОтветитьI'm about 5 minutes in and all I can think of with the Foxy thing is what Fnaf In Real Time did with Foxy for Night 3, which was basically just Foxy's night

Watching Pirates cove doesn't do anything
At first, he comes to your left door twice in rapid succession. It's unnaturally aggressive, but nothing unusual.
The third time, he charges the left hall.
Stops.
Looks back.
And decides that he is no longer an NPC but instead the main character and changes halls.
The way this catches everyone off guard is incredible.
He then proceeds to just book it back and forth between both doors, near instantly, the majority of the night.
He would need to be turned down compared to FNAF RT's Night 3 for balance

ОтветитьFun fact: Technically, every FNAF 1 character actually had unique mechanics. What they didn't have was unique keep out methods, with all of them needing the door to keep them out except for Yellowbear who just kinda... appears in the office randomly.
- Bonnie would start at the Show Stage and make a few detours before going to your office through the West Hall.
- Chica is the same as Bonnie but for the East.
- Foxy would slowly make his way out of the Pirate's Cove, sprinting through the West Hall at a high rate of speed once he gets out. Looking at the cameras can pause his movement.
- Freddy, like Chica, will start at the Show Stage and head to the office through the East Hall. However, Freddy will stay in the shadows when he moves, and he won't leave the East Hall Corner once he gets there. Like Foxy, watching him through the cams will pause his movement.

Camera power drain significantly lowered.
Bonnie rework is fine.
Foxy retains most of his original mechanics, but now can go either hallway and has a tell depending on which side of the curtain his hook is on (left to left hallway, right to right hallway)
Chica is completely reworked. You have to listen for her in the Kitchen. Her being there will be known through a soundcue (the same one that plays in Original Game when she's in there), and if the sound stops playing she drains power. Prevent her from draining the power by checking on the kitchen often or finding her cupcake in the cameras if she stops making noise.
Freddy hides from the cameras (think Springtrap from FNAF 3) and laughs like original game. When he's outside your right door (in hall corner), you have to cue the showtime to start on the mainstage, which will send him back. He can't be sent away by just closing the door.

ОтветитьI think that some of these mechanics need more consideration, in the sense that they need to be discoverable. For example, Mangle's suggestion would be terrible to figure out. Mangle shows up, so you putting up the cams, but that doesn't work, so you try putting on a mask, which works, but then doesn't next time because mangle came from the other side.

ОтветитьFor FNAF1 rather then outright removing the lights i always thought it'd be cool if one of the animatronics was light sensitive and would "rage" (aka jumpscare) the player if the light was flashed on them. That way the lights can still be used but using the lights is stressful if you arent keeping track of the animatronic. I think Bonnie would be a good fit for this due to how she roams around

you said toy bonnie and toy chica will kill you if you put on the mask, okay, whats the alternative? you didn't give one. also Toy Chica in game doesn't have an 'in office' pre-attack thing, if you dont have the mask on when she's in the vent, she kills you. so..., genuinely what are you supposed to do?
also, the words you say for Mangle and the words on screen contradict.
For fnaf 3 i think it’d be cool if the player had occasional hallucinations seeing the everything temporarily take on the style of the 2 games that preceded it and even seeing golden freddy and springtrap as Fredbear and springlock bonnie occasionally with the environment looking like fredbear’s family diner
