I watched this twice Livio. There is a ton of great information in this video. Well done.
ОтветитьNicely done video. What do you think of Foro Rosso Sweet Vermouth? We don't have a wide selection here but Foro seems to be one of the higher shelf options.
ОтветитьReally like that cops rosso
ОтветитьCriminally underrated channel
ОтветитьWhich one is good with Negroni
ОтветитьWhich is the best for Negroni cocktails?
ОтветитьThis video got me a job, between few bartenders that went to an interview the same day. People don’t realize than knowing the basics will give you and advantage.
ОтветитьI appreciate this review. I'm making some orders right after this. Thank you
ОтветитьSleeping on the 1757
Ответитьthe alcohol progressively hits our guide on the vermouth journey ...superb video
ОтветитьExcellent reviews! Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
ОтветитьAwesome video! My favorite so far is Foro which is very similar to Cocchi, but much cheaper. Martini is my least favorite by far and tastes like an old pizza parlor to me lol. Too much oregano.
I would love a video about the "Chinato Vermouth" style, such as Punt e Mes and Cocchi's Dopo Teatro and why they are really not the same as "sweet vermouth." Naturally, that would lead to a good discussion of Chinato, like Cocchi's Barolo Chinato and others.
Nice video, Carpano is my winner....even though I use sweet vermouth predominantly in cocktails (mainly negroni), Cocci di Torino looks similar to Carpano but it is heavier for my taste in the vanilla, but still very very good (had to reduce "my standard quantity" when used it in cocktails). Just bought Cinzano - still to open it - and I must also try the 1757 and the Dollin. The Trincheri sounded very very interesting, as I am towards the bitter tastes. Nice video.
ОтветитьWhat an excellent lesson. I love Dolin. It has such a unique flavor. I enjoy it all by itself. But I can see how some won’t like it. Very unusual. Carpano takes the trophy though. It has the richest, most beautiful taste. It makes all mixed drinks amazing. Great!
ОтветитьGreat presentation. Now I need to up my vermouth collection.
Ответитьwhat about the grand marnier 150 cent cinquantenaire?, i can't find it any longer... my fav
ОтветитьGreat stuff. Good to know that there are still plenty of vermouths out there that I have not seen.
ОтветитьGreat information, thank you. As one commenter said earlier my entrance into Vermouth was with Martini & Rossi Rosso. I wasn’t a big fan of it maybe just my palette but I get big oregano notes from it. Carpano Antica was my next and that one I fell in love with.
ОтветитьI really like the studio background. That's almost exactly how I am planning to finish mine. Well... minus the vespa
ОтветитьInteresting, I first tried the martini and rossi, then went from that to carpano. After many manhattans, and watching this video. I think I would like something in between the two. I find the carpano a little too bitter, I don't remember why, but I didn't like the martini and rossi
ОтветитьAs a Canadian, I lament the difficulty in finding more variety in vermouths. Happily, I am able to make some nice ones on my own. Unfortunately, I have not been able to make anything that reasonably resembles Martini, Carpano, Cinzano, etc.
ОтветитьIncredible depth of information, loved this deep dive into such wonderful products! Such an insightful point about Antica being the counterpart to Martini Rosso, had never thought of it like that but it's a genius level comparison!
ОтветитьI am in love with vermouth. Glad to see you make this video, and I am not alone here sharing the love for this special category.
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you!
ОтветитьLove vermouth love Livio
ОтветитьAwesome video!! I love amari, and depending on the vermouth, it can def make or break a cocktail. I tend to like Dolin or martini. I need to try different sweet vermouths and experiment!!! CHEERS!!!!
ОтветитьLook at you, congratulations on hitting over 1k!!!
ОтветитьYESSSSSSSSSS! Number 1!!!
