The Best Vintage Ball YET?! Legendary Teal Rhino Pro is BACK!

I still have the purple rhino from the mid 80’s and use it regularly. Coincidentally it was a gift to me from my youth bowling coach (which he received from PB3). Thank you

Jim Mcdowell and myself both have this ball and it hasn’t even been drilled yet. It’s the one that I’m gonna use for the future.

I just got this ball today, can't wait to hit the lanes with it. Should be fun after seeing this used in a lot of the old PBA telecasts from the 90s

I use the old one for light oil lanes and it still has some juice left in it. Gotta get the new one though. Shot my very first 300 with this ball.

Thanks guys, I loved this video. My original Teal Pro was my bread and butter ball, watching Parker throw it made my decision. I'm buying one next week.

I almost went pro in 1979. Got orders to Germany, and that was it. Broke my wrist in 1986, and bowling was over. Took it back up a couple years ago, and never was good again. 157 average was it. Didn’t know how to bowl with the modern equipment. Found the Teal Rhino Pro, and bought it because I played with a Rhino back in the day. Since I got it, I have averaged 194 every week. I didn’t think a ball could make that much of a difference, but it did.

threw the original in the early 90s it was awesome,, Loved the Purple rhino pro that Preceded it , shot my 2nd, 3rd and 4th 300s with that , teal was much stronger and as lefty it went up the boards nicely and also could have a lot of movement as well, I saw jess stayrook throw it as a lefty at a pro am i bowled and he could make that move as much as the big righty crankers,, and he was a class act as well

This was my very first reactive resin bowling ball. The first time I threw it. I threw it out right and it went straight into the left gutter at about 50 feet. I took it back to my pro shop guy. A regional pro and he put a weight hole in it and I was off into the races. I just ordered the new one for both my right and left hand. I had to learn how to bowl left handed because of a ring finger tendon or ligament injury. I bowl one league right handed and one league left handed. I will bowl tournaments and pick a hand depending on the amount of sticks . It's a lot of fun but twice a expensive. Lol

My dad had the original for 8 years, then I took ot over for the next 8. Even got my first 300 at the age of 12 with it

what is the oiling pattern ?

I used to watch dad bowl back in his younger days. I’m a Rhino bowler myself. I never used the teal. My main was the gold. I missed the updated release of the gold and my original gold is toast. I’m back to using my classic Pro T2.
