Informative, thanks. That being said, I can't think of any other electric motorcycle that doesn't have a big box tucked in there somewhere for the battery. So I'm not sure that that particular criticism is valid.

None of this makes sense. They're creating a range of speeds for the sake of it. The slow ones are no more or less dangerous than the fast ones, so why limit them. It's a combination of regulation and marketing, and probably intervention from oil industry lobbyists. They have the same technology, so let them do the speeds of any petrol bike, and allow them to be cheaply mass produced. I'm living in Hanoi where if all the bikes were electric, the qualty of life would be vastly improved for everyone. The thing is, there will be no uptake if the electric bikes can't do what the petrol ones can. There needs to be a worldwide overhaul of this industry to get the existing bikes replaced or converted. The battery tech is getting there, the electric infrastructure is getting there but the greed industries are stifling it. Just mKe them cheap, chearful, practical and as fast as their petrol counterparts. That's logic.

I think they all look wonderful and if Honda actually sold those I wouldn't be riding a Chinese made Cub-E knockoff to work every day. But since the real thing isn't available, I got the knockoff. Bad move Honda.

Seems to me honda's putting out a junk product, They're getting further and further away from what made them great. Trail one twenty five is awesome. It just can't find one anywhere but asia. Could we start putting some decent tires on.

This will be the biggest waste of hondas money, These are the ugliest bikes i've ever seen. They should concentrate on the 125CC. Dual shock. Automatic transmission, Like the airblade And maybe some quality body parts, Not that junk plastic

My rad mini does 22mph and can go 50 miles. The catch is, I have to help it by peddling. And I have to generally keep my speed around 15 mph. Don’t have to peddle hard. Just barely move my feet round with little effort. I weigh 265 pounds. So not bad. Cost was $1350. Battery is 1550 wh.

Ok Honda how about a street legal in USA E motorcycle that does 75 mph/120 kmh and has decent to phenomenal range!

On the topic of keys. I don't particularly know why it couldn't have both. I'd just be worried about what happens when those apps go out of service. That just kind of makes your bike defunct unless you can replace those parts. Note: I am Gen z.

Would have to go at minimum 50 miles, but should go 60miles range, and go at least 30mph, but more to 45 mph top speed for city roads that have higher speed limits, and should be less than $3k, for people to actually want to purchase.

I think they should be set like this 1at 32 mph, 2 at 45mph , 3 60mph ,4 at 75 mph an so on

I like the Zoomer E's design language. The shape is goofy, but the overall design is nice I think. If you transfer that to a traditional motorcycle it would be sick.

What surprises me is how terrible the specs are on these branded models. While current "unbranded" EV's here in Asia are getting better and better. It's like the branded ones are years behind in specs. Though I have to admit they look better than what's currently on the market.

They don’t get that it needs to be capable of going 30-35 MPH. People driving in the city will get ticked off at anything below that speed in front of them. Our policy makers who want things to be limited to 20MPH are very out of touch with reality.

In other words, they have the price and performance of E-bikes. I imagine, if they were sold in the US, they'd have a top speed of 20--28 mph. If you're marketing something as a motorcyle, or even a scooter, it's got to at least keep up with non-highway traffic. I don't think anyone's gonna like you riding on a bike path with one. My bog standard $1000 Lectric has lacks the range of these bikes, but is faster and lighter, and there are plenty of inexpensive ebikes that could also compete on range.

I can think of much lighter e-bikes that have the same range and performance for well under $2000. What is a solution in China may not work in the US, where the laws are different.
