I think the fact your using a mobile hotspot kinda makes out it's a lot worse than it is. Going by reviews from others who seem to know alot more than you it's a really decent laptop. Not everyone can afford £2K for a laptop.

I'd urge everyone not to just listen to this review to make your decision but research other reviews.

I don't know why you are all hung up on running Windows 11 on a Celeron Processor. It may not be a speed demon, but I have three mini-computers with Celeron processors running in my home lab, and Windows 11 runs just fine. I'm not disagreeing that you have a crappy computer, but running a Celeron doesn't disqualify it from being a real computer. And BTW, "5000mAh" does not mean "5000 Million Hours"; it means "5000 milliamp hours". It's the same way all laptop batteries are rated.

It was a scam. Me and. my son bought two of them thru Amazon and both of them were complete trash. We returned them and got the refund. No speaker and the mouse for the laptops malfunctioning. The merchant called me a scammer before I even finished the first sentence when I called the merchant to get some help.

this laptop should be fine for the elderly though as they are more patent with technology and only do basic searches and check their emails so i think in my opinion its ok. my laptop is Wi-Fi 4 but ONLY supports max of 2 mbps which is really sad as its my main laptop

I don't think he did a very thorough job of evaluating this. For example, what does sysinfo say about processor speed?
W-Mart has the exact same SGIN system with same specs on sale at $359. Those specs say it has an Intel 5095A quad-core Celeron with up to 2.9GHz clock --- not too shabby if it is really clocked up to that rate in this system. The MPU was released in 2021 so it's not that old. The MPU also has 4MB built-in cache. Although this MPU is not known as a speed demon it also doesn't run too hot unless stressed as one would when gaming or doing heavy computation. Therefore no fan is needed. Asus is selling an entry-level system for $289 with much less memory and SSD with an N4020 Celeron which runs to 1.1 GHz. As for network performance loading twitter there are many variables at play when loading a web page. One sample is not enough to draw any conclusion -- not when SpeedTest is rocking the dial. Is the system worth $359? Yea, but only marginally. I'd say $249 with an extra $125 for the extra DDR4 ram and larger 512GB SSD. Certainly not over $1k but that's only marketing hype to get your attention. Btw -- W-Mart is selling a 15.6" Asus, full HD, with N4020 dual-core Celeron at 1.1 GHz, 4GB Ram and 64GB SSD for $238. The only shortcoming of the SGIN is it doesn't have Bluetooth while the Asus does. But is the SGIN worth $120 more than this? IMHO it sure is.

U are very right! I bought a tablet from them but when it arrived i found out that it was a total different tablet with a different name on it than i ordered & paid for. I didnt even bother to return it although i called them. I dont think they understood English so well. I felt scammed. I think this tablet was used by someone else & i think it may be a spy ware because all the ads promote Tic Toc & over seas cell phones that are almost unheard of here. So i will never buy from those folks again & now im beginning to wonder about the same ones that Tamu advertise as well.

Celeron is still in production till today, and this laptop processor is from 2022 I think.

@DayoAworunse I just got it 3 days ago. the speakers are shit but i use bluetooth speakers. its downloads are way faster than a lenovo thinkpad and its been running good and smoothly so far and holds a charge for a long time. i got a different box that has the brand name, logo, model and size on it. i was going to get an external fan anyways to be proactive. but this vid scares me...it runs Valorant and League very smoothly. I think Im gonna returm it even though im not having any issues and its fast with the warranty i paid about $650CAD ($480USD) ill try to return it and get a different laptop i mainly use it to run my streams, watch movies/videos and very casually game i have a ps5 and series x but it would be nice to be able to play some games on my laptop. anything you can recommend for ideally no more than $500USD but am willing to spend a bit more.

Its not that bad by the locks of it and you got what was described, generally speaking it all works and checks out with the specs. This kind of price discount is just marketing though it may be on discount its not as much I do agree with that.

WiFi 2 is not a thing....WiFi 6 is also marketing terms what your actually looking for is what kind of Wireless capabilities the device has > Device Manager > Wireless > WiFi Card then details.

You are looking for Dual Band Wireless with AC/AX Capabilities that will determine the generation.

Next the thing here is when you get a PC before any testing is done you should really just update the device and all the drivers as that's a big factor. Lastly WiFi Speeds much like all other components follow the rule of only as fast as your slowest component. Meaning if your Adapter, WiFi Receiver (your Phone), The reception of the internet connection your on or the the plan you have are slow then you will have slow internet.

Not a dig at the video it was a good showcase of the laptop and I like the concern around a unbranded laptop and security of your own home network. over all a like from me but yea obviously not a $1300+ dollar laptop
