Music is an entertainment and you German People like the other aspects of living making music very complex and you teach music as a teacher in mathematic class. Make it easier with speaking fewer and acting more as well as find easiest way to deal with Drum Grooves.

well drummed ! but the chord progression confuses the sequence, it sounds like the beat is turned around... or did you mean the chord change on the 4 ?

When learning reggae guitar, we always tell students to play on the offbeat. if the guitar or the keyboard are on the offbeat, that means that the snare drum and the kick play on beats 2 and 4. I never understood why they said that for reggae the snare drum plays on beat 3. for me it's wrong. if you hear the snare drum on beat 3. it's because you're not counting correctly. To do a good count, simply count the times of the bar. for me in reggae, on beat 1 there is the hihat on the offbeat, the guitar + hihat, on beat 2 the rimshot + kick + hihat on the offbeat, the guitar + hihat, on beat 3 hihat on the offbeat , the guitar + hihat, on beat 4 rimshot + kick + hihat and on the offbeat the guitar + hihat. all of this can be played in a ternary or binary way depending on what was originally decided for the piece. Of course, everything I'm saying here is for a very basic rhythm. Are you ok with that @devonrichardson9467?

Hi. thank you very much for your video. but for me there is a small problem when you play with the playback at 3' 50'', I have the impression that you are not tuned in to the 2 chords. for me when I listen to your drums and the 2 chords + the bass, I really have the impression that you put the snare drum on beat 1 instead of putting it on beat 3 as you said previously. can you please check and tell me if I'm wrong? thank you.
