Can I leave to Act 2 without talking to her or will Laezel still leave my party?
ОтветитьIt doesn’t seem to work no more or am I the only one?
ОтветитьThe face laezel makes when you decide to wave hello to vlaakith is just pure gold. The expression on her face is more painful than any stab wound she received
Ответитьyou can reliably turn laezel against vlaakith by entering the artifact and talking with the guardian and siding with the guardian
Ответить„My wrath will find you“
Lae‘Zel:“Do as she says..“
Also Lae‘Zel: fucking kills vlaakith if she lays hands on me
We know baezel gets her attitude from
Ответитьher wrath being carried with each of her faithful is still something I'm waiting to see, Voss joined my side after I slaughtered literally everyone in the creche and I have yet to be attacked by some rogue gith ambush, which I wholeheartedly expected and am disappointed by
ОтветитьPC looks like he's doing that one Willem Dafoe meme
ОтветитьB** is really petty and afraid.
She's a lich queen
Honestly, my favourite detect thoughts moment (which comes after this, so spoiler warning) is when you try detect thoughts on a friendly mind flayer and it just mocks you and reminds you that it is literally speaking to you by projecting its thoughts into your mind.
ОтветитьThe reaction she had in regards to "being obeyed" was far more furious in my current playthrough. Maybe because I am not a Githyanki? I was quacking in my boots from my RP perspective, lol!
ОтветитьMicsoda név 💀
ОтветитьI have a weird hateed for the Gith ever since i learned about them. Is it possible to kill their god in this game?
ОтветитьWhy la'zel disaproves
ОтветитьI did this and rolled a 1 and she game over'd us 💀
ОтветитьWhat prior dialogue choices lead to the detect thoughts options? I'm not getting it... also playing a Gith with the spell active.
ОтветитьI didn't do this but i can't believe the skill check is only 10. I expected that to be 20 at least.
ОтветитьLae'zel disapproves
Shadowheart approves
A tale as old as time
It really annoys me that I could not fight that bitch at that moment, I wish I could end her right then and there.
ОтветитьOkay, I cast 'Detect Thoughts' on Vlaakith.
DM: Eh, are you certain? Do I need to explain again who Vlaakith is?
Yeah, yeah, no, it's fine. What's the worst that can happen? She isn't a real god, right?
DM: Well....
"You are being lied to!"
"I sure am!"
I don't know what it is about Gith they look fugly
ОтветитьD&D high tier spells is just world class destruction 😂, these beings could insta kill you if you messed up
Ответитьsince when can you read the mind of an undead? though it makes sense...
ОтветитьWizard casts Detect Thoughts
Githyanki Queen thinking "Hmmm, I wonder what's for dinner...UGH,HOW DARE YOU READ MY THOUGHTS YOU WORM >:C"
Narrator ...not the best move pal
In my game I just called her a fake god and she killed me lmao
ОтветитьFrom the 5e description of the wish spell.
"For example, wishing that a villain were dead might propel you forward in time to a period when that villain is no longer alive, effectively removing you from the game."
Wish pretty much has dire results if you use it to do anything other than cast another spell
Big AF plot hole with the whole Wish thing man, and it absolutely sucks. She kills you with Wish if you outright refuse/taunt her, but just lets you walk away without consequences if you say "okay I'll do it" then just not do it. She shouldn't have used Wish in the first place because it brings the massive question of: She wants this artifact. Badly. It's the one can of worms that can blow her entire plot wide open. Why would she not just wish you dead at anything other than a "Yes, Goddess"? If you enter the prism, side with your Guardian, then leave, everything is hostile as if she told them outright "Kill them once they complete their task" while you were inside, but in her vaguely-construed omnipotence, she doesn't Wish you dead if you manage to kill all the Gith inside the temple anyways?
ОтветитьHonestly, trying to read the mind of a deity level entity sounds like an excellent way to become unalived.
EDIT: So it's come to my attention that Vlaakith is not a god. So allow me to revise my previous statement.
Honestly, trying to read the mind of a creature that just needs to wish you dead sounds like an excellent way to unalive yourself.
The second she cast Wish on me I knew she was a fake God and I wanted to kill her, steal her power, and become a god myself so I can more properly serve my god.
Afterall, isn't the best servent to a god another god?
me just plodding along with the Gith stuff not knowing much about them: Hum de dum
me after reading a wiki about them: I WILL NEVER TRUST A LICH!
me after the game goes along with my choices: Oh, now this is cool.
bruh
reading a lich gods mind is dc 10
I feel like that check should be a lot higher than 10.
ОтветитьI denied her as well and then proceeded to murder her entire fortress of followers. Not sure what will happen in the future as I just entered act II but we will see I suppose
ОтветитьThe artifact is a giant D20?
ОтветитьVlaakith always t-poses, truly a god
ОтветитьIn the middle of Act two right now, so I don't know what's in store for her. But from my little "chat" with Vlaakith, she's a pretty good antagonist. She portrays herself as this God-Queen that presents this imposing image all must love and tremble before. But behind that facade is a deeply paranoid lich afraid of loosing control. Her voice actress really sells it.
ОтветитьThe best part is calling her out and they they just end your game. They did such a great job on this game
Ответитьif you fail this check, you just die and it forces you to reload a save.
ОтветитьYour character's face says it all " bitch i got better shit to do hurry up"
ОтветитьQueen Vlaakith, Gith Queen of Gaslight
