That is really impressive, own a M340i x-drive and had thought to move to an RS4 looks like I'll stay as a BMW fanboy

Also would be interesting to see if you spent an extra 10k on the RS4 bringing it up to a similar price point - how much impact would the Quattro competition sport exhaust and diff make? Does it shave off a second 0-60? Could also add ceramic breaks for stopping, and still be about the same price as the Beemer?

Didn't expect the M3 to win TBH, but seeing the specs upfront you can see why. I've had both the prior 2015 RS4, and the new model, and think the torque is amazing in comparison but the BMW still won! I would not sell my RS4 for anything other than an RS4, but man that BMW is epic! Respect to it

I really dont understand why audis are bad at high speeds, they are usually same or better fot launching but as soon as its iver 100kph, bmw just starts to make a gap, with m5 i was thinking its because of 0,4liter diff but here its only 0,1liter, there must be a reason for this high speed diff.

The newer, yet uglier car with the worse interior wins. M have fallen into the same trap as others trying to wring more power out of everything; I’m actually quite glad Audi didn’t revise the RS4’s output - it doesn’t need to any faster for the road at all and makes a fantastic all rounder that won’t make you vomit every time you glance at it. Win win.

A X3M40i can beat a RS4 this M3 will kill the poor rs4
