Thanks for the help. Stormtrooper instead of dark trooper made all the difference for me. I had everyone at relic 7 and couldn't survive the first 2 barrages. I was also being stupid and focusing on Baze instead of the squishies

So glad I was able to 3 star this BS. Thought I’d try it again today for a bit of fun and after 30min straight of not landing a single daze decided Simming it was better than throwing my phone

Nothing doing for me. Got G11 Storm and Range troopers with pretty much the same stats as yours but the RNG is fucking with me badly.

So I'm not proud of it, but I spent £8.99 to get some crystals which enabled me to get both ST and RT to G12. I DO NOT REGRET THIS PURCHASE ONE BIT as it made all the difference and I completed the mission in the next try! Couldn't have done it without your help though Gridan! Nice one :)

Thank you ! It worked for me with a R8 Piett R5 Veers R3 Stark. R1 Range Trooper and Gear12 Stormtrooper (no zeta). Finally beat this annoying level! And did so with 3 stars so I can sim it next time.

Finally trying this. My g12 ST helped me get past Wave 1, so kudos, but then Phoenix started 1-shotting my weaker guys, even after landing Daze on most of them.

Would this be possible with a Moff Gideon instead of the Stormtrooper? I see that without the +30% defense the first round of enemy turns would be more painful but after Gideon takes a turn it seems that his demoralize would do a similar job.

Just did Tier 3 with Relic 3 troopers and R5 Piett. Instead of stormtrooper, I used death trooper. What death trooper offers is the death mark which allows to mow down thick targets and to continue TM train without losing the momentum. The first wave is an absolute rng fest. Had to restart fequently for that reason. I did not seem to have any need to "farm" the scariff rebel pathfinders. Once I was through the first wave, the TM train continued uninterrupted until wave 7 where Han stuns somebody. Once Han is down, it does not really matter who to go after next because all the other enemies are THICK. Because it takes long time to kill them, they always got at least 1 turn and interrupted the TM train again. Wave 7 is also where death mark becomes very useful to get through some of the enemies quicker. Wave 8, I found the best to be to take down CLS asap, because he will be gaining TM as I was attaking other rebels. I reserved Veers special for that reason and with couple of extra hits from allies, CLS went down just before taking a turn. Rest of the rebels never got a turn after that. Overall I did not use aoe abilities too often because single target hits do way more damage and help to kill target faster + half of the time dazes did not stick. It took me about 25-30 tries before I succesfully completed the tier 3. Had 3 lucky streaks where all troopers survived the first wave. One run failed at wave 8 where CLS took a turn and that messed up the troopers. The other failure was at wave 2 where I wanted to try if troopers can auto until wave 7 - bad idea. Main strategy is to go after "soft" targets as in this video. I hope this helps people who are using death trooper.
