Impressive, thinking about getting this to run some game servers 24/7 or even a small PC to bring to work.

so got this pc about 2 weeks ago, running great. The only thing is its not seeing windows 11 update 23h2 thru windows update, getting all the other updates just fine. I was probably thinking it takes a while to show up, but was wondering if anyone ales got it updated?

Just got mine and finished putting linux on it. Its funny to me that the badass gaming rig i had in college doesnt even conpare to this little lunch box. 😂

Under no circumstances would I ever be interested in purchasing anything that operates in single channel ram mode.

Will this allow 4k Netflix or Prime Video over HDMI? Eg. is it HDCP 2.2 compatible?

Does anyone have Bluetooth gamepad Problems in batocera 38, when WiFi is turned on?
After connecting my gmktec with WiFi, my Bluetooth gamepad has latency Problems. (Tried for 3 different gamepads, and for all the Same Problem)

I have Input delays and Sometimes the Buttons dont Work at all.

My gmktec is connected in the 2,4 and 5 GHz frequency wifi. I switched to 5 ghz-only, but unfortunatelly nothing changed at all.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Shady Chinese drivers on a Google Drive.
Cannot download "official" drivers due to they maxed out their download quota on said Google drive.
Windows 11 didn't recognize any of the hardware installed.
When I got Intel's Assistant working, it didn't recognize any of the Intel hardware., despite GMKTec's "official" drivers installed a bunch of Intel drivers.
The China Dragon Realtek wifi card wasn't recognized by drivers downloaded from Realtek, only the shady Chinese drivers would work.

I don't feel I trust this device isn't calling home to the Mainland. My BeeLink n100's drivers all installed from the Intel Support Assistant, no need to monkey with drivers from weird sources. Lastly the fan is considerably louder than BeeLink's.

I love this little thing. I imaged a 2GB Batocera drive to an SSD and added a 16GB SODIMM to make a nice little emulation machine! PPSSPP was running at ~45fps in 3x native res, but it runs well with Vulkan at 2x native. Absolutely locked at 60fps. I'm really impressed!

19 days after order and I received my GMKtec NucBox G3 barebone unit for $99. I installed Windows 11 Home and Pro and neither activated, little disappointed but was expected. What IS! disappointing is the Ethernet Port doesn't work! I tried the driver pack provided by GMKtec, doesn't work. I tried a fresh install of Windows and let Windows update install driver, doesn't work. When I connect the cable to the ethernet port no lights flash to indicate a connection. It's not a problem w/cable or my network as it works with other computers. 2nd New GMKtec mini PC I have purchased with defects recently. 2 out of 2 with defects is not a good track record.

Very disappointed! Love your channel, and though not a gamer, love the tech. Big problem with this pc for linux users, no driver support for wifi and sound for hdmi. After using your discount code, couldn't wait for the shipping from ?, so I ordered a more complete unit through Amazon. Booted up with winblows to ensure all was working, then installed 2 different distros of debian based os's. Bluetooth fine, no wifi and no sound. Company responded quickly with worthless links to winblows based drivers that are useless for open source. As I stated to GMK, I'm not a software driver engineer nor any interest in becoming one. Sending the unit back today. Beware for all open source users, look elsewhere...

The M.2 drive in this one can get quite hot (depends on the model of course), mine was getting closer to 85 C under load, probably causing one shutdown. I'm ordering a heatsink for the drive, however there's not a lot of space under the drive, so it will have to be on top only and not in a small "case" like some M.2 heatsinks are.

These would be more compelling if you could pick them up for under $40.
Obsolete PCs though now are a dime a dozen, something that competes with a free PC... even if it's much smaller... is a hard proposition.
My biggest strike against it is it has a fan in it and is not therefore 100% solid state with no moving parts.

I wonder if LPDDR5 5800 would be supported if inserted.

Can you at least open 30 tabs in a browser next time? One tab and one website just doesn't cut it my friend.

i bought a used asus chromebox cn62 on ebay for around $30 and i converted it to windows 11 and it works and i love it and i bought another mini pc for around the same price and i use my 2.5 inch ssd of 2 tb with my windows 11 and this way i use one for my zoom and the other for gaming!!!!!

I advise everyone to please purchase any product from this company. After purchasing from its website last week, I changed my mind and purchased the same model on Amazon. I contacted the website for a refund the next day and responded to me on the third day confirming that I needed to refund my subscription. Later.. Now there is no information or refund. It feels like a thief company. Maybe you want to try it without any after-sales service.

My steam link is getting flaky so I'm going to replace it with a whole-ass pc because i don't like the steam controller support limitations using the android app imposes. One of these seems like it will do nicely! Id like to run steamOS outright but the boxes that can do that are essentially twice the price, too much for something im just streaming to. Id be interested to see what batocera can do on this, though.

Is the M.2 slot running at x4 or x2 on this N100 board? If it is running at x4, makes me wonder about a simple RX6400 GPU on a adapter and pico-psu. Cheap Batocera unit?

$99 is exactly the price point I was waiting for on these N100 boxes. Time to pull the trigger and see if I can replace my kids' and wife's aging NUCs! 4 eCores seems juuuuuuuuust about right for school and office work!
