Joja Vs Community Center- Which Is Better- Stardew Valley

There are actually a lot of differences with a Joja run, and I think Joja is actually better.
- All the community upgrades can happen faster.
- Nothing bad happens to Pierre, he keeps his store and his hours and prices are the same.
- Joja prices go down to match Pierre's after membership.
- Joja is open till 11pm, 7 days a week
- Autopetters become easily available
- Clint will never start taking Fridays off to go stare at the boiler room
- Sam and Shane get to keep their jobs
- Jodi and Pam get to keep shopping where they prefer, instead of Pierre getting a monopoly
- The Movie Theater replaces the Warehouse when it is built, and that is an actively useful purpose for the town park compared to the community center which doesn't serve the player as anything useful after completion.
- You get a soda machine that gives you a free soda every day worth 26g, which doesn't seem like much until you realize the other choice is a trophy which gives you absolutely nothing.

U don't get junimos when you complete the community center you can buy a junimo hut from the wizard in the end game

I am community center enjoyer.
You only need money to complete the vault room. There are also bundles that make you better understand the game.
Junimos fixing bridges and doing stuff looks cute, and you can get early access to certain useful stuff like the crystalarium. Pierre's store is nearby, which is great for beginners.
You can find people at the completed community center easier than just scrambling around houses and buildings. If you cannot or hesitate to make so much money because of the importance of the valuable stuff you have.

I go Joja all the way. It's not a community center since I'm the one who has to do everything. Plus I like to take the game at my own pace. So Joja all the way! Screw Pierre and Lewis lmao 🤣🤣🤣 I mean what has the community done for anyone, nothing! Joja actually helps people get jobs and are good people.

Do the townsfolk react in a different way with the Joja option? Cause I remember Pierre being pretty miserable because Morris was stealing his customers.

Is there anyway I could make it back to community center? The only reason I bought joja membership is to go to desert to get sandfish to complete the quest, but then I didn't know that I could buy it during winter on night sale, was so happy when I found out they were selling it. But when I return to the center it became a warehouse.

I got rich and and unlocked all of the places and items but
It felt empty that i want to try the community center so yeah i think i made my gameplay boring in the end 😭

Tbh seeing the community center filled with warehouse things is sad. I loved finishing the bundles and seeing the little junimos dance and thank you, it’s very sweet and it’s like they have a home. But seeing all that gone feels like a part of the game has been taken away. I know there’s no one way to play it but I personally would never go to the Joja route. But that’s just me.

it is my second time starting the game and i am fucking tired to do the community center things :/ but jojo doesn't look great and especially with the town atmosphere..

Yeah throwing money is good and all but there is something different about single-handedly supporting the town's economy and farms.

I like the Joja rute route because this way I was just focused on making money my way and on my own terms.

Joja is useful for a challenge run.
Imagine: Evil Joja has imprisoned you on your farm. They will give you one day out if you bribe them by buying a membership or one of the form upgrades. And they'll let you out for one day to celebrate their Warehouse Opening. But they only free you from your prison once you buy them the Movie Theater!

I've been doing this playthrough myself, and it is fun and challenging to find ways to make enough money without ever leaving the farm. And choosing exactly which days to leave the farm (buying not only Joja bribes but everything else you want in town) is an interesting challenge.
My personal goal is to get it all done AND still somehow max friendships with at least ten villagers before Grandpa's Evaluation, to try to redeem my reputation and still get four candles!

I usually start the community center from year 2 (Save up money by fishing and growing long time crops) . by the time when the 2nd year spring come i will have enough experience for farming , foraging and bla bla bla and use Quality fertilizer to get all high crops for high Quality crops bundle and i also have the best fishing rod to complete the fish bundle and also might reached deep enough in mines to complete bundles for minecart. I like to play the game in slow phased so i can enjoy a little bit.
